Energetic & fun crowd that WWE managed to slowly neuter throughout three hours, which at this point feels deliberate.
I was nearly certain they'd hotshot the belt back onto Lesnar or Roman tonight because Vince McMahon fuckery, but thankfully that didn't happen & instead we get a annoying, if 100% predictable bait & switch main event compensated for by a cool closing shot of Kofi & Seth celebrating with their respective belts.
There was a actually a really adorable post show segment where the Shield reunite to send off Dean, so colour me genuinely surprised that his departure is not a work.
And once *AGAIN* Undertaker refuses to return to his biker gimmick, i mean if he's insistent on carrying on to the bitter end, at least freshen up your bloody character, mate.
As for Sami Zayn's overrated rambling promo where he 'calls out the smarks', CM Punk did it better, mate.
I don't get heel Zayn. I don't know why they're using him this way. He's a natural, funny good guy. His heel mic work comes off as strained. His mic work last year against Lashley was a long death for everyone listening. Don't overthink this. He's EL GENERICO. Let him work to his strengths and sell more t-shirts with them.

I found it hard to take anything he was saying seriously the second he said the McMahons aren't the reason WWE is toxic, it's almost all on the writing & booking, which is all from Vince whose word is law.
You can't be mad at disgruntled fans of a written product & say it's not Vince's fault somewhat, it feels phony. This material felt like it was just Vince airing his grievances with fans through Sami & I don't see it getting him very far.

Who cares? It's only Nowinski/Maven (and I like Nowinski). It's not like we're talking Brock/HHH here. I'm more peeved these 2 have a PPV match while RVD eats wings at The World (and I'm a casual RVD fan).
