So, I started following The Cup back when it was the Winsten Cup and Dale and Dale and Darrell and Cale and Donnie and the rest were driving.
But I find myself disinterested today. I don't think the racing is all that different - I've also become pretty disinterested in wrestling as well.
It can't be that with Jeff and Dale Jr retired that I just don't like the new crop - I might have been the most interested in the early 2000s after Dale Sr passed and guys like Waltrip and Harry Gant and so on retired and the new guys who are old now (Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman and so on) were there.
What is it? Do you feel the same way?
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I still like watching NASCAR but it's not "must see" for me and only a few races are appointment viewing. Today's race at Atlanta was marginally more interesting than the usual Atlanta race, but ho hum Harvick won again...who needs that?
Racing is a nice bridge to baseball or even football season. I'll watch the Cup Series each Sunday just for something to do (been watching since I was a kid), but once football season starts, I forget it's even on.

I am 50/50 if I will put it on or not if I see that it is on the guide. I'm not that into it these days. I think if CRZ were more into it I might watch more often, but then I think.. . it's probably been a year since I've had a WWE event on? Just doing other things these days I guess.
I don't like the big plate races because I don't like wrecks. The road course races are most interesting for me.
