If this doesn't work, let me know. I have a history of breaking these things.
Entries accepted until sometime on March 8 with the first matches starting on March 9. Winner gets a high-five. And maybe Canadian treats in the mail if there's something you're really into.
Thanks for making the tournament. My knowledge of NJPW is limited so this is a complete guess, unlike the MYC where I thought Kairi and Baszler were obvious finalist contenders.
Naito and Sabre in the first round with the winner getting Ibushi? Geez. Looking forward to that.
I, too, made my entry based on almost no information beyond having watched the last two Wrestle Kingdoms, a couple of dozen YouTube videos and the occasional Dave Meltzer tweet. I wasn't even aware of the existence of this tournament prior to this post. So if I get more than 50% of the first round right, I'll be amazed.
I'm partway through Power Struggle so I'm still a bit behind...
I imagine Barreta was supposed to be in this before his injury and Chuck got his spot. Chuck vs. Yano could happen in round two and it would be glorious.
My knowledge here isn't great but I am trying to keep up to date with things on various sites. I'm just still shocked that I watched Marty Scurll in a school hall over here in the UK about 18 months ago which made me pay attention to NJPW when I heard he was a big part of it.
The good news is you can always make another set of picks. Or many sets of picks. I thought about doing one of all coin flips to see if it would beat my "educated" guesses.
I'm not entering the actual contest, but I'll throw out a wild prediction that Juice wins it.
George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

I was thinking about buying Fire Pro Wrestling World this weekend. I'd simulate the tournament in that but it looks like 3 of the wrestlers are missing from the roster.

The official NJPW guys aren't out yet, but you can download literally any wrestler you've ever thought of. Highly recommended.
Ill admit being a novice on NJPW, that I forgot Tanahashi first name. With his bicep injury I didn't think he would be back so soon. I thought he was the guy that dresses like Goku and has that red stick.

I did this and my coin flips are currently alone in 1st place
Russo was right about his idea. At least the part about the WWF STEALING IT! For Christ's sake this just isn't going to work for me. I'll give it a chance but I've never been a fan of Uncle Eric.
