Punk talked about grabbing imagery brass rings in his infamous pipebomb. Rusev has to have a room full of brass rings by now. Has anyone gotten themselves more over than Rusev? I don't even think Ryder has.

I'd say the other team in that video has the title for getting themselves over but I personally like Rusev a lot better.
Hey, I was there Live! for this. Pretty by-the-numbers show. Crowd was massive for AJ Styles, but just below him was Rusev. I caught the TV replay - they must have muted down the "Rusev Day" chants, because they were deafening live, and lasted for most of that match. They also cut a part of the match where Rusev and English were also tossing shirts to the crowd, which naturally got a giant pop. By the way, those garbage matches are tremendous fun live, way more enjoyable than they are on TV.
Crowd went right to shit after SD went off the air. Most folks with kids went home, and the guys who were left were just the worst. Despite being all-in on AJ Styles, the flippy guy who cuts mediocre promos, they couldn't sit still for anybody on 205 except for Enzo. We got "boring," "CM Punk," and "Bobby Roode" chants (Roode fought Corbin in the dark match main, but I didn't stick around for it). I wanted to punch that entire crowd. Well, maybe not the entire crowd, but you follow me. I just don't get it.
However, the biggest, most important thing I learned at that show, is that SDL has a dog! No joke, the crew has this big mastiff mix that sits at ringside with them, wearing an official WWE crew shirt. My seat (I was in the blind spot behind the timekeeper's area, so nobody can actually see me on TV) was about 20 feet away and I got to pet it before the show. Highlight of the night, baby!
