While we will get to Under Siege: The Revenge, lets talk about how awesome Charlotte/Ric was. That was the best way for Ric to come back home. Charlotte running towards him like he just came home from work was amazing. The perfect moment in an episode that was solid.
Sinn Carra got too much offense in for my liking. I am sure it had to do with the show being 70% promos/invasion. Still, Miz is running him down on Raw like a pro and he can barely beat a cruiserweight.
Shane is a poor hype while Daniel Bryan can be my advocate any day of the week. Mentioning that Brock bitched everywhere including UFC was epic. I almost want Daniel AJ to shoot promo every guy on the roster from now on.
As for the rest who cares, its an INVASION!!! Shield is just a pop machine right now. It doesn't matter who they kill, they are getting cheered. Shane took a Bran clothesline and two Triple Power Bombs and he was still looking to get up. That is bullshit. He needs to stop this tough guy act and sell. Also, I am not sold on Shane at all considering last year, he got knocked the fuck out during Survivor Series. Cena, Brock and HHH no showing is typical for our so-called A list stars. I am so sick of this part time shit that I am on the Roman winning the title at Mania. That is how sick I am of this.
The WWE is basically a Michael Bay film. Nothing makes sense, the acting and script is secondary and everyone is probably 5 to 10 years older in real life than what they portray on camera, but there are cool scenes and big explosive moments that make people say "Just lean back and enjoy the spectacle!"
I did enjoy the Usos coming into the ring and them having a brief staredown with Reigns. If I had any faith in the WWE, I would say that would come in to play somewhere down the road.
Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"
Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"
Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"
Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."
So, what, everybody's gotta defend their title before Survivor Series except for Brock Lesnar?

This was the best episode of RAW or Smackdown in forever. No real bad spots on the show (except maybe that opener with Shane), the Daniel Bryan promo was outstanding, and the matches all ranged from pretty good to great. Finally, getting the SHIELD (who I love) triple-powerbombing Shane (who I hate) not once, but twice, was the icing on the cake. Great show, great go-home show.

A rather harrowing and damning expose on Ric Flair's lifetime of legal troubles. (grantland.com) It's hell being a jet-plane flyin', limosine-ridin', kiss-stealin', wheelin'-dealin' son of a gun.
