I am personally really surprised by the Yanks. Castro is hitting way above his weight - and guys like Aaron Judge and Chris Carter and playing great.

The Cubs and the Indians basically playing 500 balls is also a surprise with all that talent. Cubs I know better - the pitchers haven't found anything yet and only 1 guy seems to be hitting in any particular game.

As a Mets fan I should have expected this season, but I had high hopes that a healthy pitching staff and re-signing Cespedes would lead to contending in the East.

How quickly hope fades.

I don't think anyone in Milwaukee was expecting this year's team to reach 4 games over .500. At any time.

There's excitement already about them.

Yeah. I was there for the Brewers home opener (with about 15 thousand others) and they sure didn't get excited. But I thought they had some good talent. I like those guys Thames and Shaw, and you have Steroid boy and Villar and a couple decent pitchers - I think you have a plus .500 team

Wish I had known you were there, too. Would like to have met up.

We need more pitching. Position talent is solid, including in the minors.

you know, it was actually, the home night opener - they played the home opener as a day game - Monday, I think - I went to the first night game as I was working there in MKE that week.

I expect I will get there again this summer. I'll drop you a PM when I do.

The Blue Jays are right up there with the Mets in sheer volume of team-crippling injuries. They had a guy throw out his shoulder this week WHILE HITTING A HOMER, since the Jays just can't have good things.

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.
