According to the internet TNA is telling the Hardys that they are no longer needed, at least not at not without some concessions Click Here (prowrestlingsheet.com).

This seemed like the perfect partnership, so this is surprising to me. I guess there is a chance this is a swerve and "fake news". They kill it in the indies, even with the whole Broken thing becoming stale. I think Jeff has one more main event run in him. Matt, is well, pretty broken, but he has become an entertaining garbage brawler.

Meltzer has said the Hardys are not taking bookings after the end of April. They'll have a WWE offer waiting for them if they want it. That would have to come with a lot more conditions than even TNA is asking for, but surely a higher guarantee.

I'm not sure you can find a "WrestleMania Monday" bigger return than the Hardys right now. The chants of "obsolete" would drown out everything.

From what I've read, the initial contract was agreed to in December of last year but with the sale going on they didn't get the contracta. When they got them, it was supposed to be for one year, instead it was listed as being for 2 years. Plus TNA wanted 10% of all indy appearance fees.

Then they were offering to come back and drop the titles, but we're turned down because they refused to sign the deal. So Impact is pretty much telling them to take their belts onto WWE programming.

Makes no sense. I've never been much of a Hardys fan, but it seems like they're getting a bad deal.

I can't help but think that WWE would either a) insist on them going back to the classic Hardy Boyz look or b) allow them to carry on the Broken schtick but with all the irony and fun stripped from it. Kind of a lose/lose if you ask me.

I've got mixed feelings on this. As Andy said, the Raw crowd after Mania would react perfectly for their return but not sure if it would last with 'normal' fans. Also not sure that Vince et al would really let them carry on like they are at the moment, and also not sure that going back to being The Hardy Boys again is a good thing

TNA really are in a bad way. Jarrett comes back and the first things that happen are Hardys and Drew leaving. Not a great start.

Also it's probably not best for either of them to be working a full-time WWE schedule...Jeff's body shouldn't/can't handle that. And Matt's in his early 40's with a 2nd kid on the way, plus a landscaper and drone to care for.

Can we just get like a Broken Hardys Network show? It beats Holy Foley.

And a boat. The thing could use a paintjob.
I doubt they'd have to work full-time.
Actually I don't think they'll show up in WWE until next year's HoF. Then they put in the Hardyz, Dudleyz and E&C as teams and such. There is no upside for Broken Matt to become part of WWE.

Could they show up as the normal Hardys for a couple of months to get the nostalgia pops, and then eventually something happens to 'break' them?

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

Maria and Mike Bennett are reportedly done now as well. There was some kind of verbal agreement and then the Bennetts backed out. Your mileage on them may vary, but I like them better than most.

Oh, but good news! Matt Morgan says he's coming back to weekly TV, which means he's probably going to be back in TNA!

It was just a matter of time until the Cursed Tag Team Titles did its thing on the Broken Hardyz.

Hopefully the next episode begins with the Wolves waking up with their titles in their arms, revealing that the past year was a dream.

The Hardys should just put on their own shows at the Hardy Compound, like four times a year (to keep from beating the joke to death). I think people would pay to see that.

Thing is they would have to come back as classic Hardy Boyz, Vince didn't let Bubba Dudley come back as Bully Ray. I think if they use the Hardys like the did the Dudleys it would be fine bring them in for a year to help get the newer teams some big match experience, then let them go with a legends deal

Dont say its not worth it, when you can sleep with no fear, that kind of time is worth any thing.- FFX

I think the issue would be that I don't think Matt would WANT to come back as classic Hardys. He seems dead set on Broken Matt and seems happy doing it on the indies if he has too. But I imagine everybody has a price, just depends on if the WWE is willing to go that high. I wonder if it's possible for just Jeff to come back for one run while Matt stays on the indies?

TNA is now saying the reason for letting people go is they want younger talent, which made me laugh. Back when most of the ex-WWE veterans available were useless people like Test, Rikishi, etc they were ignoring their legitimately great young talent like AJ, Joe, etc. Now that there are legitimately worthy ex-WWE veterans like Hardys, Galloway, Cody they've decided to ignore them and push young guys that, well, maybe they have good young guys that I just don't know but it certainly doesn't seem like they've got the young talent they used to.

Lol, not sure I'd go that far. My guess is that "young" talent is probably code for "cheap", which maybe is a necessity.

If I'm TNA I'd use that Hardy savings on guys like Dijak and Keith Lee when they become available, but maybe that's the plan. Hopefully it's not more Eli Drake.

The real queues how do we get Aron Rex off of tv?

This is probably the right guess. The sticking point with the Hardys (and maybe others) is Impact is insisting on getting a cut from all outside bookings going forward as a way to get more money coming in. If you're the Hardys, this makes no sense, TNA's not really helping you get those bookings as much as your own name, and it's not worth TNA taking 10% of your income or trying to convince indy promoters to pay more. (and that might go for anyone who can get booked a lot.)

The 10% fee only works if you can make talent important enough to want people to book them. Outside the Hardys, who seemed to have their own control, it doesn't seem like TNA's done that in a long time.

I think it's way too early to panic on this one. As long as they get him in the ring in the next two weeks, I'll be okay with it. Then we'll see what happens
