Service will be discontinued on those devices as of August 15, 2017. Sooner if you own a Sony Bravo TV.
The service continues on PS4 and Windows PCs and nowhere else, I think. I suspect the TVs and BluRays weren't being used much, but losing it on the PS3 & Vita seems like a big pain point.
this week's releases. There's also a Flash Sale. Might get King's Quest, add it to the games I've had but haven't got time to play.

I played thru Firewatch this weekend! Spoiler box for a year old game
Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Everyone talking about how the game has a iffy ending stretch made totally convinced that they were swerving the storyline into scifi, and I spent like an hour just waiting for the jump scare alien or mutant or whatever to do a jump scare none of that to happen because it's not really that game. That was an odd experience.
The ending fit with the theme of the game - the main character can see the problems but can only just endure them from a distance, not stop them - but it felt more like a book than a game, if that makes any sense. The natural conversations feels like something that's going to be borrowed from many games going forward - not it hasn't been done before, but there was something about that made it feel right - but done more complete that people will be less impressed by this game five years from now when it's cited as being Really Important.
It was a good way to spend an afternoon but not something I'd recommend for everyone.
You're totally right that it won't age well. Although a Firewatch 2 would make sense in a few years time when VR is more commonplace and the conversation mechanic is improved.
A large part of the appeal of the game is the mystery of what's going on in the forest, but also the mystery of what's going to happen with Delilah. On a second playthrough, I'm not sure how much of that mystery sustains the experience.
I remember enjoying it when I played it last year. Now, I'm struggling to remember all the details. Maybe I should play it again.
