Here's USA Today's Super Bowl Ad Meter. What did you all think? I thought it was kind of a lackluster year in terms of ads (which is fine, since the game was exciting).

What's your favorite? Presonally, I loved the Super Bowl babies and Humpty in the hospital... and the World of Tanks one (the one they rated last "Real Awful Moms" - I don't care, I laughed).

Kristen Schall's T-Mobile ads were criminally underrated

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

That 84-Lumber commercial... I kinda see what they were trying to do, but how does that sell lumber? I mean, that was great for their brand awareness, but I didn't know I needed a dedicated lumber vendor. Or is the Super Bowl a great place to target contractors?

The commercial that got the biggest reaction in the room was the Stranger Things S2 trailer, which, its a trailer so it kinda doesn't count in the ad-wars, but regardless I'm still hyped from seeing it last night.

A godaddy.com commercial without hot chicks? Boooooo.

Spuds McKenzie's ghost? Boo.

The Sprint "killing yourself to get it if your Verizon contract" was good.

Overall very lackluster ahowing. Did I miss Pepsi or Doritos ads? Don't recall any and they're usually pretty good.

Cards Against Humanity aired 30 seconds of a potato during the pre-game show on Fox Chicago.

Melissa McCarthy's Kia Niro ad was the funniest of the night.

Mercedes had a really good ad during the pregame about a boy going on a first date at the movies in a snow storm.

Actually, I thought that if the Bills played well or even won yesterday, that may have been enough to save Williams' job, but neither happened, so he's out. And to think, the Bills could've had Marvin Lewis or John Fox instead.
