So if Wrestlemania is Rollins/HHH, Reigns/Undertaker, Bray/Orton, Styles/Shane, Owens/Jericho, Goldberg/Lesnar, I'm suddenly hard-pressed to find an opponent for Cena. Strowman? Balor? Will this be the year Cena finally gets to enter the Andre Memorial?!

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

I think the problem with Reigns coming out as #30 was mostlyul "ugh..there we go again. Gotta make him look strong and bad!"
Ofcourse if Owens had lost and came out as 30, I would've cheered. But that's because it's a cunning asshole heel thing to do. But instead mr super-face decided he should just try again and get another shot.

Yes, Orton getting the pop because he eliminated RR was good. But it was most likely a "thank you for not doing this to us" pop.
I thought it interesting that Goldberg throws Brock out, Taker throws GOldberg out and then Reigns dumps UT. LIke..they still want to make me doubt who gets to fight who at Wrestlemania.
Oh and Undertaker looked TERRIBLE btw.

Loved the Dillinger entry (and sorry, it was way more than 0.01% of the crowd cheering) Is it worse than a random honky-tonk man cameo?

Jericho can't really be the iron man if he was on the floor so long but Sami Zayn was in there for quite a while too and actually took more finishers than I remember anyone taking.

Cena-AJ was awesome. I actually cheered for Cena's win at the end. He deserved it after that match.
Owens-Reigns was good too. RR is usually good in brawls and so is Owens so I figured it'd be good. Oh and let's talk about that chair pyramid by Owens. WTF was he thinking??? That looked insanely dangerous.

Bayley-Charlotte, nice match. I wonder where they go from here.
The CW match was good, lots of intensity from both guys and the submission at the end looked sick.
I hope they let Neville dominate and be a total asshole, not suddenly a scared heel now that he is champ.

Finally found the time to watch it all. Enjoyed a lot of it, confused by some and mystified by some as well.

Charlotte winning made sense at this stage. Bayley chasing the title and winning at a later stage will work with me.

Owens won in a good match and was glad Roman lost. Could you imagine him and Cena winning in the same night?! Styles came out of his match looking strong, but there was a bit too much kicking out of moves for me. Same with the Owens match as well. I know it is fake and not real, but there is a limit to how much a person could take and still kick out. Cena looked like he hadn't done much at the end when he jumped up, walked around smiling and chatting to the Ref.

The Rumble was good and strange at the same time. Brawn looked good to start with but probably won't be remembered for it. The 'main' entries of Taker, Brock, Goldberg had to be near the end as they weren't going to last for a long stint, but expected more from all of them. Pretty good pay per minute on camera for them all.

Roman coming out was something that I thought of earlier in the night and forgot about so was disappointed when he came out. More disappointed when he looked good doing it and eliminating Taker. Not that I wanted Taker to win but it just didn't make sense. A bit like Orton winning, it doesn't make sense.

There are still 2 big cards and lots of usual shows to get us to Mania, but it isn't screaming must see at the moment. Hunter and Seth makes sense and needs to happen but HHH doesn't need to be doing this. How many other matches are definates at this stage? Who challenges Owens? Cena vs Orton? Bored of that years ago and a break doesn't change that. Taker vs ?? Roman vs ?? Brawn vs ?? Styles vs ?? Do people want to see Lesnar v Goldberg again? Goldberg always wins or comes out better so why do we want to see it again? Hopefully they wait to bring back Finn or it adds more ??

At this stage I think it looks like Owens v Jericho, Cena v Orton, HHH v Rollins, Goldberg v Lesnar and Roman v Taker, but Strowman makes more sense. Not screaming Mania card to me.

And I really see nothing in Big Cass at all.

I'm currently in the midst of a low-carb diet and yesterday happened to be my cheat day. I was excited for this, so I got 18 of my favorite wings (Sriracha) and a 12 pack of Sam Adams Cold Snap. I enjoyed my feast throughout the Rumble, from pre show to finish. My family and I live in a housing community, in a cookie-cutter townhouse. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all connected in a boring, pre-fab way. We were watching the Rumble in the living room. I had just opened Cold Snap 11 when the number 30 countdown began. Reigns. I said, "Well..." downed number 11, got up, walked 10 feet into the kitchen, opened the fridge, grabbed number 12, opened it, and started washing the dishes I had fully intended on leaving for the morning. I listened with one ear and saw some motion on the tv from the corner of my eye, but my air was certainly taken out. My interest dropped to about 1. When Orton won, I said, "good", finished cleaning up, and finished number 12. Red Herring or not, I have become completely apathetic to the way Reigns has been booked and presented over the last ~3 years. I understand that he took the heat for the Taker elimination, and that without him Orton wouldn't have gotten as big of a pop. But man, I just don't care about his character at all and would rather do anything else when he's on my screen. Just my .02

It's weird, I too was cheering for Randy (or Bray). I haven't cared about Randy in years, but this Wyatt thing has made him interesting again.

It seemed like this Rumble was the one that could have benefited from being the megasized 40-man Rumble, not the one with 20 Corre/Nexus guys a few years ago. Easy to find another ten - American Alpha, Usos, Slater, Rhyno, Perkins, Kendrick, Kane, and let's say Goldust and that's still a pretty valid field. I missed the random throwback appearance this year. I did appreciate the joy that is Jack Gallagher, however.

That said, Tye's appearance was great. Fans loved it, they gave us what we had been clamouring for at least once (I was halfway expecting the Roman troll entry to be at 10, actually).

Goldberg repeatedly quickly taking care of Brock gives me no interest in another battle between them.

Both big title matches were great. I actually dig the Braun booking lately a lot.

Bayley/Charlotte was good and obviously leading to more.

Dug the tag title match. The womens six man and Sasha/Nia were serviceable in advancing their stories.

Cruiserweight match was good.

I love your description Stefonics.

I'm doing low carbs and eat wings once a week. Aren't wings more protein than carbs? (I hope. Can't give up the B-Dubs)

For the most part, yes. As long as they aren't breaded and you stay away from sweet sauces, they should still be within the parameters of the low carb business. I save them for cheat days because I hate having to move everything else around to make their numbers work. Also, wings go better with beer. And even without beer, limiting the number of wings consumed is a great idea that usually fails in practice. So yeah, cheat days were made for wings.
