First Negan kills Abraham, the we find out through a flashback while Rick and Negan are out getting to know each other, that Glenn died at Lucille's business end as well.
So much great action and intensity. The ending was heartbreaking with Maggie vowing vengeance.
Insane that they went with the eye bulging out (like the comics) I figured this would be a scene where they kind of hold back but nope. Wow.
I did like how they kept 'swerving' with first taking out Abraham, and then you think the rest is safe but no, Daryl has to be a tough guy so boom, Glenn dies.
Did Negan have about 75% of all lines in this episode? He was briliant. Creepy as fuck (different than the Governor already) I am looking forward to seeing cocky Negan vs Broken Rick Grimes. Also interesting will be to see how Rick pulls himself together eventually...
Jeffery Dean Morgan was a fucking FORCE last night. Never seen one episode where somebody just dominates every second of the show.
After sleeping on it, I'm still bothered by Glenn dying, not so much Abraham. But I am excited to see where they go from here and how they handle the Maggie Avenger.
Well they did it. Pretty good version of it too. I am hoping people realize this had to be this dark and bleak. The internet outcries need to shut up. This is how you build conflict and villains.
Outstanding episode and Morgan has that villain down perfectly. He's compelling and repulsive at the same time. I figured Abraham and I thought we might get a second one, but I thought they might swerve off from Glenn. I will miss Glenn as the voice of reason, but this will kick start the show into tons more great stuff. A+

I caught a single episode way back when after an episode of Smallville (which I watch religiously). It was the one where they have to stop the demon from crashing an airplane.
