The more time that goes by, the more I realize how much I disliked on Watch Dogs 1. Most people seemed to, but giving Assassin Creed a year off means this idea gets another shot. They've got an new location and new lead who they note is charming and funny, the opposite of the last guy. The preview notes they've read all the comments and promised to make it better this time, but I'm probably still letting someone else try it first before I put my money in.
Sony really got straight to the point on E3. Not near as many games as years past, and really no small studio games. Just the big releases, and a fair bit of stuff that seemed to be still in progress
things shown! - a new God of War (open world? mythology restart rather than a sequel)* - Days Gone* (end of the world game, looked like Last of Us 2 but you're a bounty hunter, they seemed to be keep the big secret of the apocalypse but there are zombies, gameplay footage to end game) - The Last Guardian* - 10/25/16 - Horizon Zero Dawn* (prehistoric with robot animals, early next year) - Detroit* (android future, branching story choices, police procedural) - Resident Evil VII: Biohazard (01/24/17 - playable in VR)
PS VR - out 10/13/2016 - $399 - 50 games this year
VR exclusives - Farpoint (Mars combat/exploration)* - Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR mission* - Batman: Arkham VR - Final Fantasy XV VR Experience (all the VR stuff seemed like 2-3 hour add ons at most; big properties but small games)
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare* - Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, Warped remastered for PS4. No sign of a new game, yet. - Skylanders: Imaginations (create your own Skylanders, PS4 will include Crash) - Lego: Star Wars - The Force Awaken (demo available now, out in two weeks) - Death Stranding (Kojima, TBD) - an untitled Spider-Man game (by Insomniac, so it might actually be good)
* - apparent gameplay footage shown. God of War, Days Gone, Death Stranding and Spider-Man were all listed as still in development. Spider-Man very obviously was nothing more than a sizzle reel and seemed to be farthest away.

Very happy when I got an email with this video link Just about four years later, this game is due to be released this month. I will have to reinstall Steam on a computer but I think I can handle that.
