I'm pretty sure "I had cancer" would have come up in his initial medical testing. IIRC, he's mentioned cancer in the past as well, just not to the extent that it impacted him.

No, but there's no reason why he couldn't be better used by the company as a whole. Being on TV every so often rather than be in catering. And other than Cena, could you think of a better guy to be visiting sick kids?

Who IS that Austin can't get the words out to? I remember it from back in the day, but not who or what was said. I know her answer was mind-numbingly dumb.

That would be Cameron, who was signed to a contract immediately after her Tough Enough elimination and is still there 5 years later.
And to clarify my statement, I'm not going to claim that Ryder is as good a wrestler as Bryan but he's just as charismatic and wrestles a style that will allow him to remain in the business throughout his thirties and still alive throughout his forties. I'll be able to look back on his old matches (I especially recommend his ECW title match against Christian) with fondness rather than constantly cringing at the realization that he's likely hastening an early demise.

Ryder is somebody the fans like that can sell merchandise if the company gives them a reason to buy it (or doesn't, but lets him push it).
Zack would be so good for the media crossover stuff they try to shoehorn other superstars into. He's a huge nerd who loves Star Wars, obsesses over Ghostbusters, collects Funko figures and wrestling figures, and is all about theme parks. He's as "one of us" as most any guy on the roster. That alone is something they could use better than they are.
The company trying to crush Zack Ryder's soul was wrong, but that doesn't mean I want to see more Zack Ryder. His resilience and work ethic to get better are impressive, but I still don't think he is all that good. Ryder is a nice lower midcard hand that they should be using to sell dopes crummy merchandise, advancing storylines and filling out house show rosters. A good company needs guys like that too.

So we've got, what, three weeks until the big show? Three matches have already been named (Hogan/Rock, HHH/Jericho and APA/Billy And Chuck), and on a four hour show that leaves about seven-eight slots to be filled. What matches are guessing take place?
