Said he gave Triple H a CD and Triple H liked it, so he gave him their new one and wants to get back to him on what he thinks. Yeah, they hate each other all right. I don't wanna' see the two feud, personally, but all that backstage crap is so blown out of proportion.
No, no, no....this is another way of HHH to keep Jericho down. You must know that while Chris is a big fan of Fozzy the singer of the band, Moongoose McQueen thinks Jericho is just a lame fanboy... Thus by aligning himself with McQueen, The Game found another ally in his quest to squash Chris.
Seriously, Jericho vs Cena would have been ok, but what would the purpose be? And yes it sucks that Chris isn't on the card but this way he can have more of an impact when he does show up during whatever match he will show up in. I am sure his absence is NOT to keep him down, but to start a new good angle. Remember that he has heat with both Edge and Hogan, he is semi-aligned with Angle, he made fun of the Taker, hates Rocky, hates HHH, teamed with Benoit until he got injured, is Canadian, formed 'the team that never was (but damn how come i did see them team up so often)' with Eddie G, and I am sure I am missing some links.. Basically, there are plenty of run ins for him to do which can provide a little shock and throw him into his next feud. (Hehe..Jericho assisting Benoit and Guerrero...time to change your shorts!)

Hey, did Jericho come out at WM and complain about not having a match and cut a big promo like that? CONTINUITY!
And while I don't think he needs to be involved in Team Canada 2k, it wouldn't hurt, really. Well, it would take some spotlight off of Storm, who needs all the spotlight he can get. (Unless, of course, they let Jericho and Storm cut promos a la Booker T and Golddust. Which I think they could pull off.)
Either way, I am willing to wait to see what happens when the Sunday reports roll in.

I can't understand how you can say it wouldn't hurt Jericho. I mean look at him now, he's a multi-dimensional character. He doesn't cut the same promo every week, he doesn't have to rely on America sucks cheap shots to get himself over. If he joined the Anti-Americans (they aren't Team Canada...they don't put Canada over, they just rip on America) he would be forced to cut those same boring ass America sucks promos. You can argue that he wouldn't HAVE to, but this is the WWE, so he WOULD. Chris Jericho is fine on his own. I don't care if he's not main eventing every show, he wouldn't be in the Anti-Americans either. His role in the company would lessen, not improve. He'd merely be a member of a crappy stable that's going to lose their heat in a month. Right now Jericho's character has the ability to do whatever he wants, he's not relegated to the confines of some Anti-American gimmick. They may not be doing much with him right now, but they COULD. They couldn't if he was in that group.

I agree... putting Jericho in Team Canada would be a mistake. Jericho, by far, has been cutting the best promos in the company for weeks. Right now, he can go off on anyone at any time. Hell, he can even turn face right now and still crank out some great promos.

Cena needs the match more than Jericho does. I'd stick Cena against any midcard heel at all so he can build more cred. He's beaten Jericho, just about beaten Angle, and stood toe-to-toe with the best in the business. So build him up!

Comparing Jericho to Booker is not useless. So Jericho had a little video flash for a month before he came? Wow. So did Tazz and look what happened to him. And to those of you who say announcing Smackdown is a big deal, that's just your opinion.
Booker came in at last yrs KOTR and assaulted Austin by throwing him into a table. If he hadn't screwed up by tossing him a little too far and giving him an injury then we would've seen an even bigger Booker push. As it was, though, Book got to pal around with VKM and fued with Austin and Rock. He may not have gone over either of them, but how long did it take Jericho to even get a fued with them nontheless a win.
The thing about this is I'm just as big a fan of Booker as I am of Jericho. The wwe in fans, IMO, have taken a lot longer to warm up to Booker than they did to Jericho. The fact that Book is Rock lite has only helped him since Rock has been gone and will help him in the future when Rock is out filming movies.
All I'm trying to say is Booker deserves a main event push and so does Jericho, but neither deserves to not have a match at a ppv. Could you imagine the reaction if Angle or RVD was left off a ppv, it wouldn't be pretty.

About the only plus of putting Jericho in Team Canada would be the potential of a Thrillseekers/Sudden Impact reunion with Lance Storm. God knows it would give the ruins of the Tag Team Division the shot in the arm it needs to try and revive it.
However, I'd much rather see Jericho go over to RAW, rip "Uncle Eric" a new a**hole....just add water and voila! Instant face turn!

Da Meltz is now saying that Cena/Jericho may be back on the card ... maybe. I suspect we won't know for certain until at least 7:00 Eastern tomorrow.
And count me with those who don't want to see Jericho with Team Canada. Nor do I want to see Jericho as a face again just yet -- I can well remember how stale his face character was getting before he finally turned.
"(Unless, of course, they let Jericho and Storm cut promos a la Booker T and Golddust. Which I think they could pull off.)"
Storm couldn't pull that off. Period. I'm a Stormtrooper and I know the guy can't do it. His promos are lackluster to say the least. His best role is the guy who shouldn't win but always does (ala' ECW and WCW pushes), just barely and usually do to interferance and then goes and brags about his superior wrestling.
Also, any promo with "America Sucks" isn't ANYTHING like Booker and Goldust. It's crap in my eyes. Sure it's fake. But, I see that group as a one trick pony. That and it's just a lame catchphrase. Say what you want, at least the Hart Foundation and Team Canada were a little more... original about it. I mean sure the same point was there but the promos were better and it wasn't some single dumbass catchphrase.
I like these guys in-ring not on mic. Personally I think this could bury the three of them in the end. Also, after his stint in WCW I thought Lance Storm could be a main eventer one day. I was wrong.
Any fan that see's Booker as Rock-lite is a moron. Period. Booker T is so much different than Rock it's not even funny. As for the "this person's more over" argument. WHO CARES!? I like 'em both. I don't care who was more over when they came in and blah, blah, blah. WWE has a lot of guys. Soemtimes not everyone's going to get on the pay per view. It sucks. Get over it. Personally, I still think the match'll be added myself.

That Jericho may or may not be on the ppv is not the main problem that I have, only part of it. My main beef is the shock tv going on these days. Wwe seems more content to get their ratingz spike than book for the long term. The only reason I stay around is because the wrestling hasn't gone to hell yet. So when angles or matches are dropped I am going to be upset. I'm going to complain about it. I'm going to voice my opinion. That's what a message board is for. Anyone who can't see that prob has their head up their ass.

I agree with the argumment for shock tv. I remember when Bischoff came onto my tv screen saying, "Oh great, here we go again, wonder how long THIS will last?" WWE really needs to prove to me they're going to go all the way with this and not shift gears right in the middle because something doesn't go right. They've made me wonder and question them again and again. I really hope they let this Bischoff/Steph thing pan out and go somewhere and not just have it be a flash in the pan thing.
Another problem I see with this, is now that people are free to offer their services to the other brand I see switching sides and trading being used maybe a little TOO frequently. I hope they only do this rarely so we have stability between the rosters.

The reason Booker had instant main event feuds was because he was WCW champ at the time, and the biggest WCW name that Vince had signed. It wouldn't have been much of an invasion if the top WCW guy had feuded with midcarders. Of course having the top WCW guy get squashed by the Rock mightn't have been the best way to go either...
What pisses me off is that Triple H will be an important part of the show, and he's not even going to be wrestling on the show!
Chris Jericho could have had an important match on the card, but instead they don't even bother giving him a match at all. He's healthy, he's over, he's a great wrestler, and he cuts great promos. Why the hell doesn't he have a match at the PPV, while “the question on everybody's mind is: will Triple H choose RAW or SmackDown”?
I can hear the Triple H suck-ups now. “Don't you dare lapse back into that Triple H politics discussion!” Well, you know something brothers, if it turns out Jericho doesn't have a match at Vengeance, this will be the second time in the last four months that he's not had a match on a pay-per-view. If the shoe fits, Triple H should wear it.
Does WWE actually have plans for Chris Jericho, or do they want to bury him as much as possible before he finally says “Enough is enough” and joins another fed, like NWA-TNA?
Can he even do that?

Jericho will have a spot on the show (interfering in the tag title match), will collect a paycheck, and have to take fewer bumps than if he had a match. I can't exactly feel sorry for him. Plus, it'll add momentum to the Edge-Jericho feud.
And Jericho can't be too unhappy, considering he just inked a new contract.

I agree with the fact that Jericho could d be used better and should have a match, even if it is with Cena... True, they have no real plan for him at the moment but that can change overnight.. Maybe they aren't throwing him on there because that would take heat away from what he will do at the PPV or the night after or whatever..
You know, I'd rather NOT have Jericho on my tv if it will be just a random match.. He should beat Cena (and end their short feud) and nobody would gain from it, and the next night he would be just as directionless again...
And..(not even mentioning him signing a contract) is Jericho unhappy? Has he expressed that anywhere? In the pre-WM off the record he sort of said that they could have been doing some better building of him (but fuck..that could elude to the year long lame face schtick he had to do) or ofcourse he could mean the lame hhh-jericho feud (which also hurt Hunter) but i dont remember reading 'Jericho thinks WWE misuses him' ..
