Hmmm... it looked like Jericho vs. John Cena was going to happen at Vengeance, but now they've pulled that match. As a bonafide Jerichoholic- that sucks! I was mad that Y2J had to face the rookie, now he won't be wrestling at the PPV at all! And this man was the Undisputed Champ...

You've got to be kidding me!!! Unbelievable. Amazing how far that guy has fallen in just four months... from Undisputed Champ to sitting on the sidelines. I have heard rumors that he may be involved in the Hogan/Edge tag match against Sotrm/Christian.

Damn.

That's like a vacuum cleaner. It sucks AND blows!

Unless, of course, we'd get lucky and they'd do some kind of additional setup and announcement of it during Sunday Night Heat?

We can only hope........

DAMMIT ALL TO HELL. Seriously this is the second ppv that Jericho's missed since WM. This is exactly why the fed is in the shitter right now. If you can't get one of your top guys in a storyline or even a match at a ppv then something is seriously wrong.

that's just a straight pisser... now Vengeance is showing 6 matches, and the HHH decision (RAW or Smackdown). The HHH/ Bischoff thing has to run about 30 minutes or this PPV may be as short as an episode of RAW!

No Jericho, no women, not even T&A, only 16 out of 65 people? They are committing sepukku before our eyes.

Poor Jericho since his Hell in the Cell match he was on TV matches with Farooq and Mark Henry and then put in KOTR and lost in the semi's in the match of the night verses the guy who lost in the finals. Then gets repayed by being put in a feud with a green rookie and having matches with him 3 weeks in a row (losing 2 of them) and now not even on the pay per view

On the other hand Triple H won Hell in the cell gets a world title feud. Absolutly stinks up the main event (thank god the Rock was there). His body breaks down (again). And for Vengance we are going to have to see Bischoff and Stephanie for half an hour both kissing his ass saying how important and great he is.

God how wrestling seems so unfair at times... Well atleast I know I'm not spending a dime on this Pay Per View.

I'm right with you. The next dime they see will be for Summer Slam, and I'm already debating that one.

But truthfully, who in the locker room would want to talk to Jericho after Keith rates his Cena match at **?

Well, I can't believe you guys are complaining about this. I mean, don't get me wrong, I expected Jericho/Cena too and was kind of looking forward to it, but as a Booker fan, all I can say is, BIG DEAL! Booker hasn't done anything SINCE 'MANIA! Period. There are a lot of guys we all wanna' see but aren't gonna' get the oppurtunity to. That's the problem with WWE have all big names and top talent and being a virtual monopoly in that respect. We don't always get to SEE those guys. Does it suck? In a way, yes. I wouldn't mind it if Triple H, 'Taker of others would take a break every once in awhile either. But, if you haven't seen the writing on the wall, Jericho's importance in this company since losing that belt has fallen by the wayside. And there's nothing we can do about it.

I just hope he has a good feud for the next month.

Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.

The difference, Deion, between Jericho and Booker is much larger than you think. Jericho was the first Undisputed champion and had a four month reign. He can be a heel that everyone hates, but also a face that the masses love. Those are the reasons why I am mad that Jericho is going to be left off his second ppv since WM. This guy can go in the ring and has mic skills that only few others possess. I'm really pissed that they dropped his match with Edge. I don't think anyone else posted this, but why the HELL was that done? Jericho and Edge would've been a hellova match and I don't want to get all smarky smark smark on everybody but who do we get to see instead? ORANGE GOBLIN. Lets trace back to the last time Jericho missed a ppv. Hmmmm didn't Hogan wrestle HHH in that main instead of Jericho getting a rematch. Sorry for the tangent.

Back to the difference between BOoker and CJ.

Booker is just now getting over with the wwe fans. He got just as big a push as CJ when he came in, but it took over a year for him to get over. Book cannot play heel like CJ can. In fact I don't think I ever saw Book play a heel. My memory might be sketchy. Lets see he won his first couple WCW titles as a face. Maybe he was a heel during his Harlem Heat days but I can't remember too well. When Book came to WWF he switched roles a couple of times so that's a wash in my book. Maybe he hasn't had a real chance to be a heel yet.

All I'm trying to say is Booker was being boooked over the NWO before Humpty Dumpty blew out his knee. Jericho, after toiling for weeks on end could of been in a huge match with Edge or a lesser match with Cena but the strings were pulled on both. Conclusion is Jericho deserves just as much if not a better chance than book.

http://jkyle.com says:

I'm just pissed that Cena stole the flying forearm from Jericho and is using it properly, unlike Jericho who has half-assed the last few times he's pulled it out. C'mon Chris, buck up! Jimmy Snuka kept smiling, all the way through his career's death, a coke addiction, AND accidently getting high enough to kill his girlfriend. Surely you can keep a positive attitude while Triple Ruxpin and his in laws piss on you for the next twelve years, can't you?

I'm a die-hard Jerichoholic, but I'm not sweating this one. Think...there are other big possibilities for him at the PPV. Most likely, we'll see him join Team Canada, and along with Lance Storm, absolutely blow our minds in the ring. He could also get involved in the HHH story.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I want Jericho to stay as far away fromHHH as possible. Unless I've been transferred to another universe, being involved w/HHH will never help Jericho in any way, shape, or form.

Chris Jericho not being on Vengeance is not the end of the world guys. I mean, yeah, I'd like to see him on there too, but I didn't care one bit about Jericho vs. Cena and I'm damn sure not going to be watching the main event going "boy, this show would have been so much better if Jericho-Cena were on!" The whole WWE world doesn't revolve around the PPV's as it once did. Jericho has his PPV match next Thursday against Edge. It'll be just as good, and probably just as long, as it would be on PPV. Plus, I'd be willing to be that Jericho will beat Cena in the last match on Heat and that's the same as being on the PPV in my book.

Now, if Jericho gets stuck in the one-dimensional hellpit that is that anti-America crap then I'll be upset. Talk about tying a guys hands. He doesn't need that nonsense to get over.

He could also jump to Raw if HHH doesn't. I mean, yeah, WE all know that he doesn't like Bischoff, but that's not neccessarily true in the WWE storyline world. Him being upset with Stephanie on Smackdown could be the first seed in that development. He's gonna lose to Edge, I'm sure, so he could always blame that on Steph and off he goes. I'd like to see Jericho-Booker, I know that much.

Tell me you did not just say that. I must haved missed the 4 month countdown to the arrival of Book2k. I only seem to remember the part where the WCW guys were getting booed out of the arena and/or getting fired when Booker T debuted. Oh yeah, there was the part where he was called a troglodyte. And the time he was basically called a retard in grade school. Yeah, that's pretty much the same thing I guess.

Jericho-v-Edge could JUST possibly getting proper build to the big show of the Summer at SummerSlam. I expect he'll help Storm and Christian steal the belts from Hogan & Edge, freeing the current champs to feud with McMahon & Jericho respectively.

Yeah, comparing Booker and Jericho is dumb as hell. I'm thinking to those oh-so-over segments with Mr. Harris.

Jericho/Cena had no buildup. I'm willing to wait, especially if Edge/Hogan do the job to the guys I'm referring to as "Likes in ring," becasue I hate their gimmicks.

Also, consider the possibilities, Jericho faces Edge in a matcha dn jobs, then throws a fit and goes to RAW. Then we get Jericho on RAW, which I wouldn't mind seeing.

Also, on the Fozzy message board Jericho talks about what everyone listens to backstage. When it came to Triple H he said he listens to metal. And Fozzy. Said he gave Triple H a CD and Triple H liked it, so he gave him their new one and wants to get back to him on what he thinks. Yeah, they hate each other all right. I don't wanna' see the two feud, personally, but all that backstage crap is so blown out of proportion.

I agree that there should be more storyline advancement, but they only have an hour for the show. Maybe their mindset is to try and lure people in with the actual wrestling and not some boring 20 minute promo.
