Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir.
Even though I don't expect anything to be launched tonight, I'm not sure I've anticipated a Monday Night Raw like this since WCW was still around.

This is bonkers. Well played HHH (he gets all the credit for the good stuff right?)

Given the national title game tonight, they should hold off the debuts until next week. But they're bringing in Brock tonight.

If the game is a blow-out at halftime, maybe this will work for them.

Right...a Bullet Club takeover really sounds like more of a "RAW after WrestleMania" kickoff, doesn't it?

Nakamura and Anderson are still under NJPW contract until the end of the month, so they probably can't show up tonight or at the Rumble. Gallows could show up at any time, but no one would care about Gallows on his own.

The original idea was for Styles to be a surprise entrant in the Rumble. (I don't know when, but it would have been a smart idea to make him #30 to counter the usual Daniel Bryan sadness with a surprise.) It wouldn't make sense for him to show up ahead of time, and he's still got indie dates to fulfil this month. Don't get your hopes up yet.

Styles vs Nakamura is up on you tube https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mZzcM3-e8MI and Styles likely isn't going to be on Raw tonight and is due to wrestle Johnny Mundo one night and Rey Mysterio the next in a uk Indy event.

TNA says Styles, Anderson, and Gallows has signed with them on 12/14 and then backed out of the deal over Christmas.

This is coming up today because Styles (and maybe Gallows, since only Anderson and Nakamura would still be under contract) would be signing WWE at any moment to start at the Rumble. TNA may even think these guys are the surprise at tonight's NXT show. If he's bound to TNA, he may not legally be able to sign with WWE. TNA notable does not say Styles is under contract - it's an implied threat to Styles + WWE and a message to their fans that they tried to get back someone who means a lot to their fanbase. TNA is big on implied threats and not so big on following up on them, so this may amount to nothing more than strange venting.

The WON had implied these guys had looked at multiple options before going in, even saying Anderson was close to signing with TNA. The hold up is they wanted TNA+NJPW. TNA, with it's limited scheduled, would've been fine with that but NJPW apparently doesn't want to work with TNA or have their wrestlers there after previous bad experiences. TNA or NJPW on their own isn't a better deal than WWE (and neither is the combination of ROH & NJPW.)

(aside to the aside: that also suggests that TNA has money to work with again, but no one wants to have to be in TNA and take it.)

This is such a weird story, because they can't really sign anything binding if they are still under contract so what does that leave? A letter of intent? Does that mean anything?

If TNA's version is mostly true and if everything from merchandise to dates were agreed upon then it is a bit of a dirty move to back out and leave them holding the bag. Given TNA's track record I'm guessing their version of the story is only somewhat true and mostly sour grapes.

They might have money to spend, but I think they aare going to be stuck overpaying for the Michael Bennett's of the world until they can prove there is some sort of sanity in that company.

Pwinsider saying this might just go to the courts. This type of situation happened with Kenny King leaving ROH for TNA four years ago. I hope this won't delay AJ's debut but it probably will.

Feels like this is the reason TNA suddenly reveals this info.
To throw a wrench in the supposed debut of AJ in the Rumble.
Then again, I assume he has told WWE about this and their legal team must've sorted it out already and know there's no issue here.
Then again, this is wrestling, people on all sides seem to forget or ignore rules, regulations or internet porn site names.

It does make for another interesting twist in this story.

A while back while going to some indy shows, I saw a wrestler named Toad there. When Lodi wasn't working in WCW, he would go around and wrestle with Toad. Anybody remember him and know if he is still wrestling?? Thanks!
