Or more like fuck you, I am useless character and my last act is killing one of your favorite characters. Fuck you, Nick. Just fuck you. Is Glenn dead? I am going with yes. I do think the vagueness of it on Talking Dead is to keep fans guessing for a few weeks while we get the incredible story of Morgan's transformation for hermit killer of zombies to Kane from Kung-Fu.

The rest of it was weeding out the extra cast. I don't mind these guys for the record. I thought it would be fun to get to know more characters, but it seems Walking Dead doesn't care. That said, if Rick magically gets out of his situation while Glenn doesn't. Kinda calling bullshit on that.

They telegraphed Glenn's death SO much it almost seems like he can't be dead. Even if it is Nick lying on top of him, how does Glenn escape? I think he is a goner, or soon to be a goner.

As for Rick, he is Teflon. He will survive. I mean, all he has to do is stay quiet and let them walk around the RV.

If Glenn IS actually dead, then there is no way Rick dies. You can't lose both Glenn and Rick in back to back weeks.

This was a pretty average episode with some annoying dialogue up until the climax. Episodes like this make me hate that The Talking Dead exists. It's only because of that show that the main show has its own equivalent of the 24 silent clock, which leads to fans drawing conclusions, which leads to the showrunner having to come out and make multiple vague statements that only fuel the fans' conclusions. And now, if Glenn actually survived, the dramatic effect of that reveal is lost.

At least this week's episode showed that there were no plot holes in last week's episode.

For about the middle third of the show, the audio and video were *badly* out of sync. Maybe it was just me. Did anyone else experience this.

You don't HAVE to watch Talking Dead you know.

ANYWAY, I am pretty sure Glen is dead, and if not, then it will be a pleasant development.

How many people has Maggie lost at this point?

I say it again: Rick has been a disaster for Alexandria. The residents who question him? Dead. The husband of the gal he coveted? Dead. Michonne had to clobber him to reign him in.

He has been overheard telling his people to sacrifice the Alexandrians to survive. The Wolves attack while half the town is escorting a walker parade, and that has cost them people inside and outside the town, including possibly (but not really) Glen. Daryl questioned his ideas again this week, and Michonne and Glen refused to carry out his orders with the straggling residents. He's making Gabriel look sensible to the residents, and I hates me some Gabriel.

Someone needs to have a come-to-Jesus meeting with Rick. Something has to change.

I've got to go along with Lindelof's comment on Talking Dead: "I will say that … I hope there's not a shenanigan. In terms of .. this is not going to be a 'Bobby in the shower' Dallas thing. Or, the old-school movie serial cliffhangers, where we see the car go over the cliff, & you're like 'There's no way the character could have escaped that.' Even if those weren't his guts & entrails being pulled out of him, he's still in that scrum."

Everybody. And we will surely have to mount a "go looking for Glenn" mission, which will end up being "recover the backpack" (Telegraph much?), & "deal with Walker-Glenn." (Which meets the vague criteria of the Scott Gimple statement.) Whether anybody else dies in that process … I'd guess probably so. Just so long as we don't end up with Maggie being pregnant.

Rick has absolutely been a disaster for them! (Is Glenn's death a portent of Alexandria not being such a great plan for Rick's core group either? Mmmmaybe.)

But the situation is way beyond a "come to Jesus" intervention. Rick's already screwed them all over. Most of their key players are dead. Their perimeter's been breached. The previously-pitted walkers are back on the move en masse. They're toast. If it weren't for Rick, the Alexandrians would have had a blissfully ignorant existence, right up until they had one really bad day. If I were an Alexandrian, I think I'd prefer that to this protracted "5 more of us died today thanks to Rick."

Meanwhile, I still can't keep track of some of these second-tier Ricklings. Nor do I care about most of them. Likely just me being over bothering to pay attention, just to have them be "attrition". Partly it's because the Kirkman-regime doesn't develop characters nearly as fully as Mazzara (& even his predecessors) did. Maybe it reminds me too much of modern corporate America: "We have a big project. Hire a bunch of people. Project's over. Lay them off. Lather. Rinse. Repeat." Out of each one of these major "population influx" situations, you pick up one or 2 that you actually keep. You get a bit of occasional attrition in the core group. But it's pretty much nearly all of the Costco add-ons being peripheral.

This cliffhanger wasn't dissimilar to the very first episode with Rick stuck in a tank rather than an RV.

Perhaps he'll hear a friendly voice on the walkie?

I believe in the Rickatorship. The Wolves were always going to attack. Instead of wiping out the town, they wipe most of the town. Those who live should be grateful for Rick. Mainly for building a team that turned housewife/abused woman Carol into the Queen of the Bad Asses.

Its not Rick's fault, they are not smart or strong enough to survive. Glenn is probably dead, because Nick was always worthless. He wasn't going to save the town with his crew, he left some of them to die. Miss Mayor has no idea what to do about any of this that is why she hide. All malcontents when change happens, they bitch, but have zero solutions. Rick has saved as many as he could, but at the end of the day they were ripe for the plucking.

Agreed. If Rick does not show up, that town is eventually toast. Nicholas is responsible for so many deaths too - he admitted leaving people behind when things got bad on runs.

The walker herd would have made their way there, got through the walls and killed everyone. With Rick, maybe a few survive. Without him they are all dead.

Sucks about Glenn if he is dead. I liked his character from day one. Would have liked it better if Maggie died.

As bad as it is to lose Glenn, the day they kill off Carol is the day I stop watching. She went from the least likely to survive to the most likely to live. She dies, we all riot!

For the record, Rick is not responsible. If Rick had his way, Aaron would have died in the barn and the group would have never set foot in Alexandria. The Ricktatorship was overruled by the group. He was convinced by them to open his mind.

The group moves on, The Wolves apparently follow since they were in the general vicinity (Noah's hometown). Those in the group searching for humanity are the real cause of breakdown in Alexandria. Can't blame Rick for taking charge once there, somebody had to do it.

Before Rick & Co showed up:

1) Pete The Drunk was beating up his wife and kid while the entire town turned a blind eye.

2) Aiden and Nicholas were 'making runs' and lying about the fact that people were left behind or outright killed due to their ineptitude

3) The Wolves were laying waste and murdering other towns virtually uncontested - until they met the new and improved Alexandria.

4) The Alexandrians had absolutely no skills in combating any sort of Walker threat, while a huge horde was unknowingly laying in wait.

All Rick has done has fast tracked them kicking and screaming into the 'real' world. Those who can't or do not want to keep up shouldn't be alive anyway. I will grant the point that Rick is being a colossal asshole about it all, but that doesn't make him wrong or a disaster.

Glen's presumed death sucked. I hated it. I hate the fact that it might be real (because he's probably my favorite non-Daryl character), and I hate the fact that he might be saved due to some camera/plot trickery (although I'll settle for the latter).

They've been killing waaaay too many characters off lately. Especially since they seem to be introducing a bunch of third-tier characters specifically to kill them. It makes the deaths meaningless, and important ones like Glenn's don't hit as hard because of it. I get that it's supposed to be a "no one is safe" kind of deal, but in practice it just makes everything seem cheap. I'm really starting to feel like WD has run out of steam - this is basically just a recycled Governor plot, and it's not like I see many other options to keep the story going. They've told all the stories there really are to tell. The show probably should have ended when they got to Alexandria.

Judging from this bit of info, it looks like Darrell Hammond is the longest currently serving cast member.
