My 15 year old daughter who never saw the original movie (though you don't need to have watched it) convinced me to watch this new Fox show with her the last two weeks. I can't say I am enthralled with the show, but it's passable. It seems like a buddy cop procedural with Fez from That 70s Show thrown in. Most interesting part is the actor playing Wally the Caretaker is the same as the movie. Anybody else watch the first two episodes and if so, what do you think?
I'm enjoying the show, and I wasn't necessarily a huge fan of the Tom Cruise movie. I love that it's paired with Gotham, as I think both of them have a great look to them.
It isn't the best show that's on TV, but it does a really good job of keeping my attention, so it'll stay in my viewing rotation.
I'm really not into weekly crime investigation shows and I think the whole thing with the guy constantly spazzing out when getting the futuristic visions would get repetitive and annoying really fast.

Does someone want to tell me when exactly Jack called NotHeadquarters to put out the details on where Walker was? When he was in the van with the bad guys? Via tooth transmitter? Text message while in the loo?
