this week's PSN Update includes a sale on 100+ games in honor of the Playstation 1 20th Anniversary. I feel like that should be a bigger deal. (20 years, not the sale.)

I just noticed I spelled the month wrong. Don't care.
three PS2 games have been rated for distribution on PS4. This is notable because PS1/PS2 games are currently not playable on PS4 - you have to get a PS3 to play them digitally and that's been a point of frustration. It does not appear to be a typo, because of one of the games has already been released for PS3.
The Tokyo Game Show is tomorrow, so maybe they make an announcement there.
Among the Tokyo Game Show announcements: the PS4 is getting a price drop in Japan. About $40US, taking place at 10/01. Nothing announced for the US, but maybe wait a couple weeks to buy a PS4.
That PS2 on PS4 deal doesn't seem to be mentioned, so who knows.
PS4 Games Arcade Archives Solomon’s Key $7.99 Bombing Busters $6.99 Flame Over $11.99 Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight FREE Invokers Tournament FREE Kitten Squad Free EA Sports NHL 16 $59.99 Overruled! $14.99 Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 $59.99

PS4 3.00 will come out tomorrow. That's a quick turnaround; so quick no one reported leaks from the beta as far as I saw
Official features - upload video to Twitter (10 secs max, you can edit) - a new section for PS+ (easier to find the free games) - you can watch YouTube Livestreams - PNG Screenshots along with JPG!!!!! - "Events" notifications for the games - messaging improvement; hopefully someday I'll get something besides FIFA scammers - other minor stuff but I've lost interest
I randomlly played a lot of Grow Home. I spent a lot of time playing it, more trying to beat it before me. I got the flower to the top but couldn't figure out how to get the seed to safety without death (or without speding another 10 minutes climbing again) and may have given up.

EDIT: Kotaku has the others as - Unmechanical Extended (PS4/PS3) - Kickbeat (Vita/PS3) - Kung Fu Rabbit (Vita/PS3) - Chariot (PS3)
They also note the PS+ version of Drive Club will no longer be available to download after Tuesday. Which makes it sound like you won't be able to get it back in any way after then, even if it's in your purchase history. This is atypical (but not a great loss.)
How is Super Meat Boy? Its one of those much-beloved Indie games that I've somehow managed to never actually play. I'm sure its worth grabbing for free and playing for 20 minutes (cuz, well, free), but I'm curious what I'd be in for.
There also is an update for the Vita (3.55), which means Sony still knows it's making a Vita and is employing people to work on it. (This is about changing the resolution on Remote Play if you have network issues, which actually has helped me a fair bit with the ChromeCast and is a nice addition, no joke.)
Adventures in PS3: - decide to download Twisted Metal as free PS+ game (I rarely use my PS3 anymore) - try to connect to store - run mandatory system update - try to connect to store - run mandatory store software update - try to connect to store - success! - try to download Twisted Metal - "the last time you logged in was on a different system, so please verify your identity" using a credit card that I no longer have - did I mention that this is a free game - and even if it wasn't, I have ~$90 in store credit - find payment settings - remove credit card - add new credit card, re-entering all my address info and whatnot - connect to store - try to download Twisted Metal - "you do not have enough space on the HD" - I have 15 GB; game is 13 GB - begin mass deletion of things I will realistically never play again - try to download Twisted Metal - "you do not have enough space on the HD" - I now have 18 GB; game is still 13 GB - extend mass deletion - try to download Twisted Metal - success, probably - we'll find out in several days when the download finishes
the important question is did you get my sticker???
(also: why did they make Knack stickers? Is there a Knack 2 coming? why? Are they keeping the beloved character alive for the inevitable fighting/cart racing/party game?)
