Very Sad. That Hard Times promo is about my favourite ever.

I loved his colour.

I saw the man that was Born a poor plumber's son in Austin Texas (and stretch out that Texas when you say it) LIVE in Denver back in the mid 80's. We were in the 3rd row and the man put on a show. The crowd just ate it up.

RIP

The man was a legend at an early age and will always be remembered as such.
It's easy to say they don't make men like that any more, but they simply don't. Larger than life, always.
Everybody that knows a little something of wrestling knows a lot about Dusty Rhodes.
WWE has made sure to 'redeem' him over the past few years and had him take his place up there with Flair and Bruno as one of the all-time greats.

It seems he was still in the NXT facility every day, and from what I read on twitter he's left quite the mark on the NXT generation, like Enzo, Zayn and Owens.

Here's what the latter two had to say

Dusty's response to Ole Anderson's turning on him in their cage match against the Assassins at the Omni in 1980...

I was teaching this week fr ur Latin American office and once of the topics at dinner with Tonio (yeah, I don't know how to do the accents things) was both the death of the Dream and his amazement that I had seen Santo movies. But he knew all about the dream. He knew "it's Clubberin' time" and he knew about the feuds with Flair.

He's a legend, but he lives on ...

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

The sheer quantity of tributes pouring out is staggering, but not as staggering than the impact Dusty has had in the industry.

As far as promos go, look no further than the recent(?) Shield/Rhodes feud, where he put his hand up in Stephanie's face, and stated he'd be their huckleberry. He still had that magic.

RIP.

Dusty was always my second favorite wrestler, right behind Junkyard Dog. He always entertained with his promos and he always delivered in the ring. Sure, he was no Benoit technically, but he didn't have to be.

How Ironic that just a few weeks back everybody was talking about the "Dusty Finish" after Ambrose got screwed.

RIP Dream.
