New Fall show descriptions:

BLINDSPOT – a Jane Doe (Thor’s Jaimie Alexander), with no memories of her past, is discovered in Times Square, completely naked and completely covered in tattoos. The FBI gets involved and discovers that the tattoos are smaller parts of a larger overall crime conspiracy. Basically, she’s a walking Blacklist.

HEARTBREAKER – character medical drama about the life of a female heart-transplant surgeon.

BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS – variety show

HEROES REBORN – Tim Kring reboots Heroes for a 13-episode miniseries. Zachary Levi joins HRG, Hiro and others.

THE PLAYER – former military operative stops major crimes in Las Vegas while very rich people bet on his ability to do so. With Wesley Snipes. So...a serious version of Rat Race?

PEOPLE ARE TALKING – multi-cam comedy about two couples who talk out loud about everything, including the uncomfortable things that other people normally just keep to themselves. Sure, why not?

Shows coming later…

COACH – reboot of one of the best sitcoms ever, with Craig T. Nelson.

CROWDED – A couple’s two grown daughters (and the husband’s parents) move in, transforming an Empty Nest into a Full House. With Patrick Warburton, Carrie Preston and Stacy Keach.

HOT & BOTHERED – single-cam comedy about the behind-the-scenes drama of a Latino soap opera. With Eva Longoria.

SUPERSTORE – megastore workplace comedy with America Ferrara and Ben Feldman.

YOU, ME AND THE END OF THE WORLD – the misadventures of an eclectic group of strangers who band together in the wake of the news that a comet is going to hit Earth. With Rob Lowe, Jenna Fischer, Megan Mullally.

CHICAGO MED – latest in the Chicago franchise.

GAME OF SILENCE – a man is confronted by his long-lost childhood friends with the news that a dark secret they buried 25 years ago has resurfaced. Or something.

SHADES OF BLUE – JLo is a NY detective on the take (but only to provide the best life possible for her daughter) who has to deal with informing on her circle when she’s caught by the FBI.

THE REAPER – event miniseries about the first African-American sniper who had 33 official kills during a single deployment in Afghanistan.

Also coming are a movie about the life of Dolly Parton (COAT OF MANY COLORS) and a live production of THE WIZ!

I went and watched the trailers. OOF that People Are Talking looks BRUTAL.

The Blindspot and The Player looked interesting, with Blindspot looking the better of the two.

Heartbreaker? Good Lord, not another medical show where the "boss" runs around talking like every other "boss" in a medical show. But hey, Melissa George is hot so it might be bearable..... no probably not.

Wait, J-Lo is going to be starring in a TV show? Sure, I realize she's technically already been doing so on Idol, and sure, she hasn't had a big movie in a while, but still, it seems a bit odd.

None of the new shows or the midseason arrivals look particularly interesting, but wait, they're reviving COACH, of all things? "One of the best sitcoms ever" is a bit of a stretch.

After over 13 years and 6800 posts, was finally named W of the Day on 3/21/2015. It's now all worth it!

I just want Dobber to come back on coach, so my kids will freak out from hearing Patrick Starfish, but seeing, well, Dobber.

It makes my Top 10 all-time list easily, but of course YMMV. Not sure rebooting it is a good idea, however.

Well, it's not exactly a reboot, it's just taking a character and showing where he is 20 years since we last seen him. Sorta like a high school reunion.

Apparently the live episode of "Undateable" went so well this past season that the ENTIRE next season of it will also be live episodes.

Top 10 all time ever??? I don't think that show makes my top 25 all time ever sitcoms.

It was a decent show but I was never ever must see for me.

Life is hilariously cruel.

It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.

I....declare.....BANKRUPTCY!!!!

Yeah, BP and Spider-Man disintegrating were almost a huge relief for that reason. It was too terrible.
