No HHH, no Stephanie, only a Daniel Bryan cameo, probably the best wrestling I've seen on Raw in a while.

I can't believe they gave away that Floor50 Splash on free TV. That was monstrous.

If Kane gets a title shot after Extreme Rules as his last main-event hurrah, well, I'm OK with that. But Rollins can't coast on fighting Authority figures for months. He's gotta defend against a Ziggler or Lesnar at Summerslam.

That Divas battle royale was a mess.

The Floor50 is the first time I've genuinely gotten vintage Jeff Hardy flashbacks. Neville has some very real potential to be something special. The match with Dolph was fine, but it felt like it was just scratching the surface of what they could do.

EXTREME RULES! The PPV where ANYTHING GOES...will feature a main event where a signature move is banned. I half-expect Bart Simpson to give us the "Cuckoo!" gesture.

I was actually quite pleased with this week's show. Glad I decided to bother to watch it. I could have used more Daniel Bryan, though he was really good in the Hell No reunion with Kane. They must have woken up the continuity editor. Kane did lie down, but sowed the seeds for one last return of the Big Red Machine before he hangs up the boots.

Neville/Ziggler was every bit as good as it should have been. Ziggler may have won, but nobody was talking about Ziggler afterwards. Nor were they talking about the fairly boring stipulation standoff. That was freaking epic as all hell.

I'll give Cena this, he had one HELL of a match against Barrett. Don't much care for Cena taking all three of Barrett's finishers and STILL kicking out, but at least BNB got to shrug off an AA to keep fighting. I actually can deal with Cena coming out to jerk the curtain and have insane matches against underutilized talent, especially since he almost always acts as the heel.

Paige looked GOOD tonight ... in the ring, of course. Right. Then Naomi randomly turned heel, because that's how the WWE rolls. Does this mean the Usos will be turning as well, or are they going to just stop having backstage segments with her and whichever one she's married to?

No Authority, which is always a good thing. Still had JBL, which isn't. They just need to keep Steph and HHH off TV and let Rollins take over the stable in name as well as truth, with J&J and Big Show as his enforcers. Kane can put the mask on one last time and have a throwaway match with Rollins before Summerslam. That most everyone will forget since Brock is probably the opponent for SS, but that's how Kane's usually rolled.

Y'know, it's funny ... the WWE puts on a hell of a show, and everyone's either too burned out to have watched, or nobody has witty things to say when it doesn't totally suck :P

I imagine the Usos are largely out of the picture until the one's arm heals up. There's probably a really good chance of her turning face again once the Usos come back.

I wouldn't say it was a great show, but it was a good one. The truth is, when you've got just kind of a good show, there's not much else to say. I mostly liked it, although I could have done without a main-event promo segment. Neville/Ziggler was good, even if the wrong guy went over (I like Ziggler, but he didn't need that win. Neville needs to beat some people before the crowd starts seeing him as a flashy jobber). However, they advertised Ziggler/Rollins and didn't give it to us. They also did a bait and switch last week on Smackdown, with a tag-team main event that they'd been advertising for a week that they changed at the last minute. I don't like bait and switches.

The show wasn't great, it wasn't bad. It was just there. Nothing offensive happened, nothing surprising/shocking/inspiring happened. Cena had a PPV quality match with BNB. Ziggler got the pin, which is correct because we just got done with the "Ziggler loses every week LOLZ" phase of his career.

Neville already looks better and more ready than any "rookie" since Bray Wyatt. This is a product of who he's faced just as much as it is of his talent. I'm not a huge Neville fan, but if they don't give up on him he'll be more than fine. His interviews aren't that great, but RVD and Jeff Hardy didn't sell tickets with words. Plus, he makes successive back handsprings look remarkably easy. I would dig a long Neville-Sheamus feud.

Naomi turned(?).

Fandango, despite having no character depth or development since he came to the WWE, is remarkably popular if given the right crowd. He has charisma. It's a shame he doesn't get to use it more often.

I'm glad that Lana and Rusev are back together and that creative didn't cop out and tease dissension due to the events of WrestleMania. I'll pretend that creative has a better plan than the cliche, but I know it's because they completely forgot about the events of WrestleMania.

To be honest, part of why I thought it was an awesome RAW was because my expectations have been set so very low Plus Neville is new to me since I haven't been watching NXT (not a Network subscriber). He's definitely impressed me, reminding me of a sober, skinnier RVD in his prime. And if not sober all the time, at least isn't RVD 4:20-ing it either.

Plus I gotta admit I'm a continuity geek. D-Bry remembering where Kane's locker room was just in time to give him some helpful insights/taunts was great. Hell No always had surprisingly good chemistry. Why WWE never noticed that Kane/smaller bouncy guy works so much better than Twin Towers teams, I'll never know. Granted, when my examples to point to are Hurricane Helms and Daniel Bryan, it could be less Kane and more simply 'big-guy-small-guy' match mechanics.

I think they totally justified Naomi's attacking Paige and she actually had a totally valid point. Kinda refreshing to see instead of "Chix r cray-cray lol" as is the usualy reasoning for any Diva match.

Though she was putting on the "muahaha" a little bit thick.

Historically, UK shows have always been difficult to get a thread started about them, and no change this time around. I caught the show on DVR delay thanks to a Timberwolves game, and I thought it was pretty predictably forgettable.

Cole without a neck brace was reprehensible telling of stories.

unless I FFWD'd past it, did they mention his getting F5'd or Brock's tantrum at all?

Also, LINE OF THE NIGHT was Darren Young saying "Rainbow is my favorite color", or some such.

Agreed. JBL or Booker asked about it during their opening but Maggle said that he'd talk about it at a later time or some such. I wasn't expecting to see him at all or if we did to see at LEAST a Joel Gertner style neck brace on him. What a disappointment.

Also, the PTP outed Los Matadores as Puerto Rican. Will the gimmick be dumped?

God let's hope so. Just hope that doesn't somehow make El Torito glom onto the Lucha Dragons...

I think the writing was on the wall for them as soon as the Lucha Dragons (who I love so far) showed up.
