They are probably setting records for merchandise for female wrestlers since I can't remember merchandise for any of them between now and Sunny/Sable.

Did Trish or Lita have tshirts?

IWC before there was an IWC.

I think they had a few, but yeah, those have to be records for female wrestlers. There's no way in hell the fanbase is what it was when Stone Cold and the Rock shirts were LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. The Austin 3:16 shirt all by itself probably sold more than every piece of Divas merchandise combined. Maybe not counting calenders.

I don't think AJ meant all-time record-breaking. I distinctly remember that Lita was the number one merch seller in the company for a while, because it was one of Matt Hardy's talking points when she was drawing some criticism from fans (although ironically, this would have been just a couple months before their split). It was also Lita with the highest-rated RAW segment as well - against, of all people, Steph, I think. Trish might have done as well, although I'm not really sure on that point. I probably wouldn't bank on anybody since that era, although I'd be willing to eat those words if anyone has more info on the subject.

Trish and Lita main evented a Raw that did a really great number. I think the Divas do make them money. If they didn't, they wouldn't have that division. If cruiserweights made them cash, they would be on the show. The Divas probably make a bunch of money in personal appearances and calendars.

It was not broke the first time. Cruiserweighters are a dead thing. Its not like I am happy about it.

Cruiserweights always get good pops with live crowd anywhere they're featured prominently. One of the reasons TNA's signature was always the X division was because it had a strong level of cruiserweights and high fliers along with a mix of power wrestlers (many of whom could fly themselves). If cruiserweights were dead there would be no Lucha Underground.

There are plenty of people in good positions on the WWE roster who would have been considered cruiserweights in the '90s -- Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, WWE tag team champion Tyson Kidd.

I promise to never use the term "Cottage-cheese-textured" ever again. And I am so "incorporating" (as in "Stealing") the blaring "Boy From New York City" idea. DEAN.
