Tonight's show will be a studio show from Stamford. Probably just videos and interviews. No one knows what will happen.
RAW was supposed to be in Hartford tonight. The Hartford show will instead happen on Thursday and be a live SmackDown show.
The show in Boston, scheduled in Boston, is canceled. You can exchange a ticket for the June show in Boston or get a refund.
No word yet on where that leaves Canada and other places who normally get SmackDown on Wednesdays, but history indicates it'll also be a studio show (which won't air anywhere else.)
I'll expand my initial notion of airing an edited Rumble to include big PPV matches from 2014: Mania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, etc. That way you can get a Lesnar match on USA without paying him extra.
Because, holy God, the last thing they need is even more talking to fill airtime.

It took an act of God for The E to dodge the bullet of an outright fan revolt. There's a good chance that the immediate fury from last night blows over by next week.

Maybe with 3 days to write Smackdown and reflect on last night, they get a chance to breathe and think post-PPV for once.
WWE's story model has never made sense to me. The day after a major PPV, everyone should be exhausted and beat up. You can have them be interviewed, the good guys can be forced into a match to get beaten on more, etc., but that's seldom what we see. Raw after a PPV 90% of the time is like Round 2 in a Street Fighter game, 100% health regained.

If there's one thing you know about the internet, it's that fan outrage is usually "poutrage".

That said, this could be a nice experiment to air an hour of NXT and see how it goes, if only to go back and say - look, we can cut back Raw to 2 hours and air this as well.

I know they've missed shows due to tennis and dog shows, but the show went on after Owen and Benoit died.
They had a live RAW after Owen died. They did not when Benoit's family was found. They canceled the show then and ran a Benoit best-of. Vince started the show in the ring talking to the camera.

If it was last year, maybe. Not this year. The memory of last year's movie (same as this one) is still fresh and I highly doubt the fanbase will allow them to live it down.

It sounds like they need to really make tonight "Old School Raw" and label the show Prime Time Wrestling. Have JBL and Maggle serve as (dirt) poor man's Heenan and Monsoon, or let Vince come back to chair the late Prime Time Wrestling panel. Does Hillbilly Jim still work in Titan Tower?
I am banking on a super serious promo about safety to start the show then a ton of clips from 2014 as well as interviews about the clips. Clips-O-Mania is going to run wild on you.
I was very not happy to see the BG James on my screen again -- especially his catchphrases, which I had managed to forget. What's with all the "baby" imagery? What's a "Baby Train?" "Welcome to the Baby Boy's Playpen?
