My wife and I are completely hooked on this show. Have been since mid-last summers re-runs. Never miss a new one. LOL every single show. Anyone else dig this throwback Wednesday?

I was in early, and really liked it. Gradually I stopped watching for no real reason, maybe partly because I figured it was destined to be cancelled. It's pretty basic safe television humor. A little too vanilla at times. I should check it out again.

I gave it a serious try and I love Jeff Garlin. But I don't know. I couldn't find it funny. I lived in that era and I found too many things that didn't ring true for me, but in general, I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it was because of Trophey Wives after it, maybe it was because of NCIS LA on CBS.

and I haven't even tried it this year. Maybe it is time to give it another chance

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Barry is hilarious. Bev is a great sitcom mom. As someone who was about Adam's age, she rings true.

You can't watch it too critically. The 80's references are just mashed together so you might see a reference from 89 in an episode that also has a reference from 83. Just roll with it.

We started leaving it on after Agents of Shield last year, and its one of our favorite shows.

Right. Also, adult Adam, who narrates each episode, begins by saying it was "nineteen eighty-something". I pick up on discrepancies almost all the time, especially during last season's wrestling-themed episode (which was dedicated to The Ultimate Warrior), but I'm not bothered by them.

This show is huge winner for me. Barry and Bev steal the show every damn time.

The wrestling show was the repeat last night, missed the original airing, and LMAO at the Bill Goldberg reference.

At the end of last week's (new) show, they showed the family celebrating New Years in the living room, and on the tv was the neon numbers "198", with the last number strategically blocked by Adam. Continuity-wise, I catch shit wrong on the show all the time, but I don't let it bother me. Pop-pops is hilarious. I've always liked Mom since Reno 911.

I was so excited after they showed the TV screen. I explained to my wife that they used to drop a New Year's apple in Times Square before they dropped a ball. I was so damn happy to see that apple.

Love this show. Plus, I've eaten at that Lee's Hoagie House that they show last week.

Barry makes the show, but the best part for me is telling old video at the end of the episodes.

THIS. I love any time his Dad is in that video. We actually did get a shot of him in his underwear in the recliner once, right?

Also, the gal they cast as Adam's best friend really does resemble her in real life.

Barry really is a moron, and he's OUR moron.

Meh, it's a little late for this post (the series premiere was last Wednesday) but I think this show may have some legs ... It's like Comedy Central took two of their all-time popular properties (Dave Chapelle and the Daily Show)
