So Smackdown! was on last night ...

Both Orton and Cena were absent this week so the show was bookended by Ambrose and Rollins calling each other out. Rollins refused, while Ambrose slipped in through the crowd to get past Noble and Mercury, who got punked out repeatedly by Ambrose. Rollins ended up fleeing and leaving his 'security' team to get put through tables with a pair of Ambrose elbow drops.

Cesaro and Ziggler wrestled again, and since it was a title defense Dolph actually got to win for once. Another really good match out of these two which ended in Ziggler blocking the Cesaro uppercut, using his momentum to spin him around, and then delivering the Zig Zag for the win. Afterwards, Cesaro challenged Ziggler backstage to a 2/3 Falls match at HitC, which Dolph agreed to. I'm betting that Ziggler will win 2-1 after the first pin goes to Cesaro.

Shaemus, it turns out, is a fan of Mizdow (join the club) and was even amused by his impersonation of the Fella last week. They're definitely building Mizdow to a face turn. He and Regular Miz beat Los Matadores with a tandem Figure 4 to both members after Mizdow laid out El Torito.

AJ Lee and Alicia Fox squared off, and Alicia performed a gorgeous Northern Lights suplex into a pin. AJ ended up winning, though, which indicates that she may end up losing to Paige (since the winner of the pre-PPV show usually loses).

There was a looooong Big Show interview that I skipped entirely. I really don't like the angle they're spinning about the Army guy Rusev decked, especially since it may encourage more fans to try and make run-ins. You can tell it's a work, too, because they wouldn't have mentioned it at all if the guy really did jump the guardrail, military or no.

There was a Bella/Bella Total Divas match too, which I similarly ignored.

Since we haven't seen enough of these two teams wrestling each other in 6-man tags, the Usos teamed up with Mark Henry this time and Double Dust teamed up with Bo Dallas (who even they think is 'a weirdo'). Dallas won by hitting a Running Bo-Dog on Henry, making him 4-0 against the World's Strongest Man. And this was who we were supposed to believe could beat Rusev? The fact that the Usos and the Dusts have been wrestling each other once a show in 6-man tags just tells me we desperately need more teams in the division, because by this point we're just getting bored of the Dusts and the Usos wrestling each other.

When you say Low Ki was 'circling the ring,' did it seem like he had meant to knock Maff out? Did Maff blow a spot or something earlier?
