gonna build a giant drill and bore straight into hell releasing ancient demons from their sleep-forever spell so they can walk upon the earth and get recituated and run the diet pill pyramid that MC Pee Pants has created
please edit that so it doesn't screw this thread all up. Please.
Anyway, oh well. I was hoping for Sabu, but it doesn't matter much as I don't get to see Smackdown anyway.
edit: wait a minute. this doesn't even make sense. What's the reasoning for it? Steph had to be forcibly removed back in November, so why would Vince put her in charge now?
What I want to know is precisely when the crusierweight matches/segments appear and if there were any womens matches on the card so I can tune it at atomically precise times in order to avoid everything else that is WWE.

What's left to bring back...Jake the Snake? Oh wait, there's that Warrior guy...
I might have to buy NWATNA tomorrow night just to feel whole again. Boy if there was EVER a reason for every one of us to support NWATNA with our buying power, this is it.
I keep thinking back to that promo Vince did to introduce the NWO. I never heard him sound like that before even with all his usual overacting. "If anyone is going to kill this company it's going to be me!" I could not imagine how to kill a company more than the shit he has done since that promo. Buying that condo makes me think even more that he is trying to pull an Enron. Goodnight indeed.
Bubbles? Oh come on Sharon! I’m Ozzy Osbourne the Prince of Fucking Darkness. Evil, evil, more fucking evil not a boatload of fucking bubbles man.
This is what happens when you let ONE PERSON have too much power.
Seriously, is there any way to actually overthrow Vince in the company, like pulling a Steve Jobs on him or something? Does he have any investors or a board of directors who could all give him a vote of no confidence and run him out in order to put the product in the hands of a person who has the quality product in mind? Really, I'm not just trying to be cute. Is anything like this possible with "Titan Sports"?

Hey, you know what's great? I was really worried that without being able to watch Smackdown! and with the great CRZ done with recapping for the foreseable future (you rock CRZ! Come back soon!) I was going to miss out on a really great set of Smackdowns. Well, now I can rest easy, in knowing that I really don't want to tune in anyway. But boy do I miss Angle.

In all seriousness though....even though Bischoff took most of the wind out of my sails.......this, this is something that makes me, a guy who buys most WWE DVD's because I enjoy watching wrestling, a guy who buys tons of WWE action figures because I enjoy collecting memorobilia for wrestlers I am a fan of, a guy who would (without fail) see every episode of RAW and Smackdown because I love the sport so much.........this makes me give up.
This has been brought up in a few other places, so I'll try and keep it brief: unlikely. WWE stock comes in two flavors, Class A and Class B. Class A stock is the sort that peons like you and I can buy (or, more likely at this point, sell frantically). Class B stock has twenty times the voting power of Class A, and is held only by the McMahon family -- in fact, if any Class B stock somehow comes into the hands of a non-McMahon, it immediately becomes Class A. So even if all the holders of Class A stock rise against the McMahons, they're still outvoted. You'd probably have to get Shane, Steph, or Linda to join a stockholder revolt against Vince to force any changes on him -- and I have no idea how much each McMahon holds, but I'll bet dollars to doughnuts Vince has the majority share.
Of course, if there are any big institutional stockholders who have large chunks of WWE stock, they might be able to work some influence on Vince -- but I think the big institutions have more on their mind right now than problems with the WWE's booking. And no matter what, the final say is going to rest with Vince.
There's still Velocity to look forward to. From the spoilers in wrestlezone, Molly cut a viciously biting semi-shoot promo about the bad angle she's in, and how she is being treated by the fans because of it. Code to Trish and the others: if and when any of them beats Molly for the title, don't dare treat the title like a joke. I'm there!!

No, but I'll take your word for it.
Anyway, why is Stephanie McMahon that bad? I mean, she can be as annoying as anyone else in the world, but I don't see why you all are acting like this is the worst decision in the world, especially considering that we haven't seen what's going to happen yet.
The crowd's going to HAVE to boo this, after watching Raw and expecting a Bischoff-level surprise.
And the TV audience will boo as well.
I think it would be slightly more tolerable had the GMs been reversed, then with Raw live, there's the chance for more pics for the Steph Zone.
Anyway, bad decision all around, and I doubt more than 10% would disagree.

This is the best news I've heard all day. I was bummed because my Thursdays weren't free anymore, but now that my 2 favorite people in the world are on the same show again, I have no fear of missing anything.
Oh well, at least Raw with Bisch can still have that funny ECW meets WCW and has a crack baby quality that I find strangely endearing.
You never know when you'll meet that special someone... the someone that's mysteriously blind to your flaws. or, you know, stupid enough not to realize that yes, you really are that cynical.
Yeah, I know about Sheldon Benjamin - he's supposed to be another man-beast himself. Stick him in a stable with O'Haire and Lesnar - with Heyman as a mouthpiece, they'd go places.
