He had a booth at the Kentucky Flea Market, which a BIG flea market held at the Kentucky fair grounds once a month or so. He was pimping his website JimCornette.com.
I spoke to him for a few minutes and he could have been nicer. I told him I thought he was tied for being the greatest manager ever, in my opinion, and he immediately said "with Bobby Heenan? No, he's the best. But HE says I am the best. I thanked him for all the entertainment over the years and name dropped smokey mountain wrestling - he was impressed! I told him I loved the chickenshit heel and he said "Well, I have that down".
That was fun. He looks so young, I wonder how badly he must have pissed off everyone to be more or less out of the business at his age.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Got to meet him at an indy show in May. Very nice guy. Got to chat with him for a bit during and after the show. Did a fun promo segment with local heel manager du jour Travis Cook that ended with Travis on the business end of the tennis racket. Good times.
