I assume if WWE had any interest in the female talent they would have scooped them up already, which is too bad because I am going to miss seeing a lot of them on tv every week. The Beautiful People especially.
Also, did WWE just let EC3 go because they had nothing for him? Did he break some rules? Or was it mutual?
Anyone know about that Indy/old timer thing Tommy Dreamer is running? Small potatoes? Or can that grab traction now.
Honestly, I always thought they way overdid it. Basically, people bled so much in TNA that it never meant anything. All things being equal, I prefer the WWE policy of only hard-way blood to the TNA policy of blading every time somebody wants to sell a spot.
I am actually saddest about the loss of the Knockouts division. I liked that TNA actually gave time for their ladies to wrestle some good matches, and they had one of the most talented active performers in Gail Kim. If WWE were to take anything from TNA, I'd force Vince to let the ladies wrestle and cancel the Total Divas thing. None of them can wrestle worth a fuck, fire the lot of them and bring in the Knockouts. Most of the Knockouts are hotter than the mass-produced supermodels they're calling Divas these days anyway.

Yea, I think most of them are have no chance going to WWE. Velvet and Angelina have both left TNA prior and no one picked them up. Gail left badly. Tiffany left worse!

They didn't have an idea for him when NXT v1.5 ended, he had ideas, but he had a knee injury before WWE could decide if they were serious about those ideas. He did come back, but WWE has an informal rule that a person can only be in developmental for so long of a time - if they can't come up with an idea for you after a few years, you get cut so they can free up the spot for someone else. It would really be great if his TNA stint got them to take another luck but who knows.

House of Hardcore. Small potatoes, running a weekend of shows every month or two. Unlikely to expand past that.
If I were Vince (and clearly I'm not), I'd get rid of every Diva on the roster except Paige, Emma, AJ and Naomi (maybe keep the Bellas on as cheerleaders for their respective SOs), and hire on the Knockouts division en masse, along with whoever was writing their TV. Then let the girls go to fucking town. Are there any other leagues or places to get good girl/girl wrestling? And no, I don't mean porn :P

You know ... a *female* invasion angle has never been done, has it?

The official cancellation of Nitro wasn't announced until the week before. They'd be crazy to announce a cancellation of a show with 10 weeks of new episodes, most still to tape.
And in all seriousness, who on cable would want TNA at this point?
Somehow, TBS actually comes to mind. Is the management that axed WCW still around?
(edited by Horsemen4ever on 29.7.14 2238) IWC before there was an IWC.

And you were a trooper in covering that mess until the very end. Of course I remember watching all that crap too. Knowing the recaps to come helped get through the pain.
It's getting five steps ahead, but who enjoys the salacious conspiracy that Spike is jettisoning TNA so they can buy ROH keep wrestling as support for Bellator without the baggage of Dixie and Ru. At the very least that seems to be what Court Bauer is trying to will into happening. It'd make for quite the babyface small package finish.
For what it's worth, Meltzer said Spike has talked to two other wrestling companies but one is a dead issue. If you want to connect that to the "Sinclair denies ROH for sale" story, well, it's still hilarious to pretend.

He'd be the Sean Stasiak of the sale!

Yes Vince. Fire Natalya and Naomi so that Angelina Love and Velvet Sky can teach the women how to work.

I don't know who's booking the Knockouts these days, but I believe Dutch Mantel (aka Zeb Coulter) was booking them when the division first became the highest rated segment on Impact on a regular basis.

ROH makes sense, but it could be Global Force Wrestling even though their roster page is blank. They have to give some help to their MMA show. Having reruns of Cops then MMA seems a bit too connected.
I'll take the Beautiful People over anyone in the Diva roster even Mrs. CM Punk. When they are on, there is no stopping them. Diva matches are never going to be epic again. Even AJ and Paige this week didn't do much. I would rather have them work a 5 minute match while cutting entertaining 10 minute promos. Also, Naomi and Nat were the best two examples you had? Glad, Johnny O didn't see this.
Vince/WWE is NOT going to change the way they do their diva roster, especially while Total Divas is on. Ever since Wendy Richter, they have not given one iota of crap if a woman can wrestle. Period. We all know this. You know it.

According to Meltzer, Jarrett (who is still minority owner of TNA) is contractually barred from negotiating with Spike. This is believed to hold even if TNA dies.
That's an interesting factor for the time being. If TNA, LLC went out of business, however, then would anyone be able to enforce the contractual right against Jarrett?
I wonder if TNA contracts include clauses relating to them losing their domestic television contract. TNA could theoretically transition to using lower cost indy talent for their international programming, if the Carters want to keep the company afloat.
I will say that if RoH takes over that would be even better. They had some quality TV for a long time and that's where I became a fan of guys like Low Ki, Daniel Bryan (American Dragon) and Christopher Daniels. First exposure to CM Punk as well.

I did include Naomi in my list of women to keep. I'd forgotten about Natalya and Alicia Fox, keep them too and leave ODB and some of the less talented Knockouts to the bush leagues. Other than that, bring in the women en masse invasion style, let them badmouth the Divas 'style' and talk about how they're going to bring real wrestling back to the division.

Yes, we know this, that's why we're resorting to fantasy booking for a 'what if'. We know that's the way it is, that doesn't mean we have to like it or stop hoping that when Vince dies or retires that someone with an ounce of respect for female wrestling takes over (Steph maybe?)
Note that I said that's what I would do if I was in Vince's position. Of course, if I'd have been in Vince's position I never would have let my Diva's division get this horrific and never would have started Total Divas to begin with.

I for one think it's a SURE FIRE THING that Vince would give the OK to an angle where a competitor's group of wrestlers shows up, tells everyone watching that the WWE and how they run things sucks, and then is proven correct in storyline.

This idea has a 100% chance of happening.
Why is everyone missing the 'fantasy booking' part of my idea ...? Do people tell Dr Unlikely that his Crisis of Infinite Shields aren't likely to happen?
