) remember the Vertebreaker? That move just looked nasty. That's why I hate the Eye of the Hurricane. Same goes for Kidman's new finisher. Anything is going to look anti-climactic when you're expecting the Shooting Star press.

*DROOOL*
Vertebreaker=me jumping up and down wondering if the guy would survive..
As for Kidman, yeah the old school SSP was awesome..

I believe the Harlem Hangover is that Holly-ish slam? Or was that the 110th street slam?

The man that invented the Mandible Claw was Dr. Sam Shepard, once accused of killing his wife.
I believe he was aquitted (sp?) eventually but ofcourse his medical career was over.
He created the move when he became a wrestler.
It is actually quite powerful (you apply it on yourself, even then it can hurt..) but ofcourse the evilness of the move was pretty much over when Mick used Socko..

Imagine this is some funny signature. Then I will imagine you compliment me on it.

Harlem Hangover = somersoult leg drop from the top rope...Booker use to nail it big time, the last time i remember seeing it was in the best of 7 vs Benoit but i bet he did it a couple of times after that.

Worst finisher for me right now...The BossSlam just becuase i hate him so much hehe

Ah..thanks for clearing that up.
Booker has had so many damn finishers..I hated his missile dropkick one..
Didn't he do a mini Harlem Hangover then recently in the WWF? I remember for a few weeks he would run the ropes with his opponent down and then do a standing summersault leg drop.
It always looked sweet. I think this was when his gimmick was about being better than TheRock.

The Bossman Slam isn't that bad. In fact, I can imagine it having quite an impact (if it wasn't the bossman doing it.)

Another very bad move: The Pit Stop!

He did the running Harlem Hangover on the Big Show for the pin. This was after Show kicked out of two Axe Kicks, so I thought they were really trying to establish this as his finisher. Didn't last too long I guess.

It is actually quite powerful (you apply it on yourself, even then it can hurt..)

Ok, who else tried it on themselves? I gave it a shot, but didn't really do it very hard. It did feel really weird though, and I could totally see it working if done full-out. You have to stick your two fingers into the soft part beneath your tounge.

Jesus, what's wrong with me?

Worst finishing move? That's easy -- the Fame-asser, or whatever the hell it's called.

Two fingers against the soft part beneath your tongue, thumb against the point right behind your jaw bone and push..It does feel weird indeed..
Wouldn't it be sick to read a suicide report 'person was found with two fingers in his mouth and a sock puppet right next to him'

And as far biting to fight off the hold..If you apply it fast and hard enough i think the fingers are waay to deep in the mouth to just bite them. Before you can muster the force to snap shut you are panicking and going down..

The Vertabraker was cool but I am glad they got rid of it. When Helms took on Kidman for the CW title on the last Nitro I thought that Helms had killed Kidman. The move could really hurt some untrained wrestler like the Frankensteiner did when Scotty cripled that totaly green wrestler.

Billy's got a ton of bad moves. I hate, hate, hate the Fame-asser; but I loathe that "Drop Sleeper" slam (The One & Only???). I can't even figure out what the concept is behind
it that would finish off an opponent, unless they were afraid Billy might try something else, botch it and cripple the poor guy.

Stevie Ray's Flapjack was poorly executed too often, but I do like the concept of it.

Well, i bet you do get a nasty case of whiplash from the sleeper drop. You land on your back/shoulders with your head being held and being in an unnatural position..you cannot cushion the impact.
(Yes, I love to analyze moves..)

You're entitled to your opinion, of course.

I can remember the night he debuted (in a non-vignette fashion) by attacking the Undertaker and I think the thing that REALLY got that move over for me was not only Foley's hog-like squeals, but also the way they somehow got the Undertaker to "foam at the mouth" after Mick was pulled off of him.

What "cheapened" the move was the addition of that damned sock.

The crappiest moves have to be that stupid worm and the People's Elbow. Hogan's big boot and leg drop was cool though, classic! (Yes the boot sets up the leg drop, but someone mentioned the clothesline--it USE to be the clothesline that set up the leg drop, back in the 80s).

What about Kevin Sullivan's stomp? I always loved that one.

One more that you guys are forgetting- Baron Von Raskee's CLAW! THERE was an awesome move! Also- Don Morocco still has the best reverse piledriver of all time. Awesome finishing move.

Well after Ronnie Garvin's Dance of Gayness he ended with a stomp directly on the opponent's face which was semi-decent

Does anyone happen to remember the "submission hold" Rick Steiner was using for a few weeks in the latter days of WCW? It consisted of him dropping to one knee next to a downed opponent, and grabbing the opponent's forearm. I really don't know what that hold was supposed to do. Maybe he was supposed to be giving him an indian burn or something.

Reason I remember this move is because Vampiro submitted to it in a match on Nitro. My friends & I couldn't believe that this "hold" ended the match.

I thought it was a pretty basic armbar..but they sold it like it was the crossface, sharpshooter and tazmission in one..Steiner howevre made it look like he wanted to just hold their hand..
It sucked! For sure a nominee for worst finisher!

He doesn't seem to be using it now, possibly for this very reason, but the Van Daminator was definitely as bad as The Worm or the People's Elbow. In some ways it may have been worse because sometimes people were injured by it, which is a good indication of a bad move.

The Last Ride isn't so great either.
