Okay, I don't know if I've mentioned it in the reports or whatever, but the person I end up talking most about lucha is one Mr. Joe Gagne, formerly a writer for [slash] and my own site. We typically have a CRZ/Keller-esque (haha) similiar evulation of the matches - he does a Worked/Didn't Work and I usually go down the list and agree with him on every one.
This week? Not so much. Joe liked the main event quite a bit - I was quite Underwhelmed (by Sloan) about the whole deal.
What did y'all think about it?
While I'm talking about CMLL - does anyone else hold some decent hope for this hair/mask main event? I don't think it's gonna be some amazing five star classic or whatever and probably would fit better as a semi-main event with a good main event over it, but I still think it could be a fun match - these guys do have potential, even if they're stuck with Pierroth for the time being.
This PPV line-up is so underwhelming it's not funny, given the talent available to CMLL

There are film societies and cinemas galore for the serious non-film student.” – Robert Steele, “Film Scholars at the New York Film Festival,” FILM COMMENT 2, Fall 1964, p. 41, as quoted in It’s Only a Movie, by Raymond J.
