I'm not saying that's not what's going on in the show, I'm saying, it doesn't really make sense for the reality of the zombie apocalypse. If you told me the gang Darryl was with were cannibals, it would make more sense.

Well, to be fair, we really don't know much about the Terminus group and their backstory on the show. As this part of the story unfolds next season there will probably be more parallels to the group in the comic. A little backstory may tie that down for you next season.

I am of the opinion that it makes less sense for the group Daryl found to be the cannibal group. They were a tough and brutish group that demonstrated that they possess the survival skills to do their own hunting. One even snuck up in Daryl and shot his bunny. That's not easy to do (well, it shouldn't be) considering Daryl's badass abilities.

In either case, I don't know if the cannibal story makes sense at all. I mean....what set of circumstances could result in cannibalism making sense? They are cannibals in a world that really doesn't require it if you have certain skills like hunting or growing crop. Clearly the Terminus group can plant and grow flowers and stuff. Were veggies there too?

The cannibalism direction seems to be more shock factor than anything else (for the comic and the show). That's not say I don't enjoy it, I'm just not going to try to make sense of it. In the end, the folks at Terminus are screwing with the wrong people.

Who says they don't also have cattle and vegetables somewhere?
But the room with the candles and the text on the walls sure seemed to point at some sort of cult.
Who says they don't have a contrived crazy reason for eating people, like "Eating manflesh will keep the contamination at bay"

I need to re-read these parts of the book.

It just seems like nomads on the run, who wind up having human meat fall in their laps through random opportunity makes a little more sense than trying to....do whatever they are trying to do.

Cattle can work, because they eat grass, which humans don't usually eat. What are they going to feed the humans to fatten them up? People aren't going to be a very good protein source in this world, even if you did eat 100 oz. of chocolate pudding a couple weeks ago.

As far as the cannibals go, I have no problem with a group of people using the radio to lure prey into the camp.

The episode showed that Rick had a ton of experience in setting snares, and we all know that Daryl can hunt and kill his own food. The show has also shown us that even with these skills, Rick is barely catching enough to keep the three of them alive, and Daryl's arrows are wearing out. I know the gut reaction is to say everyone would just hunt animals for food if this happened, but evolution says we suck at that. Most people if left in the wilderness to hunt for their survival would just die of starvation.

Rick and company had a prison with double fences and cement walls and they couldn't keep it safe enough for even one season of crops. Herschel's secluded farm was overrun by a horde Rick brought, but they were already saying the fences weren't working great anymore.

There is no sanctuary. There is no safe place to set up a cattle ranch. Planting a few carrots is great, but I need food a few times a day. The amount of farmland you'd need undisturbed is crazy. Terminus is a warehouse in the middle of a forest. Even if you could build it up to be a giant place of safety, the last place we saw like that only brought tougher people who wanted to kill you for it.

My problems with David A. have nothing to do with him winning a different reality show and everything to do with his (in)ability to perform.
