Didn't really pay attention to the preshow. Kevin Nash looks like my dad!

The live stream lasted about 82 of the 120 minute window and apparently died for everybody right around the same time. I got back in with 9 minutes to go and the finish of the main event came about two minutes after that. I may go back and see what I missed.

RESULT:
Triple H welcomed us to NXT
1. Cesaro pinned Sami Zayn in a match of the year candidate
2. Mojo Rawley pinned CJ Parker
3. The Ascension retained the NXT Tag Team Championship over Too Cool
4. Paige retained the NXT Women's Championship over Emma - Stephanie McMahon came out before intros
5. Xavier Woods NC Tyler Breeze when Alexander Rusev pulled a Sid Vicious on 'em (from what I read - it was during Breeze's entrance that the feed went out)
6. Adrian Neville became the 4th NXT Champion defeating Bo Dallas in a ladder match - Shawn Michaels came out before intros to plug his Mr. WrestleMania Blu-ray

John Cena was shown applauding Neville after the match, in a manner reminiscient of Steve Austin at the XFL game.

Was told that they oversold the Full Sail Arena by "hundreds" and some of the longtime fans who didn't miss a taping yet were denied entry were PISSED. Refunds were finally given, and they DID get a chance to watch the show on a TV screen outside the arena.

Strange that I could go almost two hours without a hitch (counting the preshow) before it all went kerplooey. Hope they have that sorted by WrestleMania. I expect they will.

This was a really enjoyable show.

I had forgotten how much fun wrestling was with solid announcing.

Caesar vs Zayn was match of the night. What an incredible pairing.

Paige vs Emma was the first women's match I have enjoyed in forever. Really good stuff, and the total opposite of what they will probably do on Raw.

The other stuff was all good filler, it didn't look like a lot happened in the ladder match other than the title change.

My only complaint, Hunter and Steph playing face again. It makes no goddamn sense, they need to get over themselves.

Oh yeah, second complaint... had to watch on the Kindle, because they still haven't gotten the 360 app up and running yet.

Find a way to watch this, if you haven't already.

The reason I subscribed now was to be able to see this show, and it delivered. The Cesaro/Zayn match was really good and you should go out of your way to see it if you didn't.

The feed going down in the last half hour is concerning. Every launch is going to have it's problems but they're not building confidence here (and it looked like they would.) I gave it about 10 minutes of retrying and then just watched other stuff. I don't know that people will react as well if this happens in WrestleMania. They've got the Hall Of Fame as another test run, but maybe they'll want to try more than that. (Maybe something at Axxess?)

The other small nuisance was my feed quality going up/down a couple times, and rebuffering and dropping back a second or so when it didn't. This really didn't hurt the matches, but suddenly I was reading about spots on Twitter before I saw them. I just turned off Twitter, but it'd be nice if I didn't have to.

The really great thing that doesn't show up in the match results were all the introduction video packages they did. They did a better job of explaining Emma than the main show has, and Paige and Neville got got video packages as well. I think they did a Bo Dallas one, but the feed conked out during it. They have 5 hours between RAW and SmackDown and some of this sort of content should make it there.

Beside the crash that last throw most of the main event the only issue I had and as far as i know only I had was at some points during the show it would skip back a few seconds and replay from that point. Example Steph Comes out before the diva match she makes it to the ramp and my feed skipped back to her theme starting and her coming out then played normally it did this during tyler Breeze's entrance then just crashed. Came back on with HBK in the ring then skipped back to tyler Breeze walking out then crashed it did this for about 15 to 20 minutes finally allowing the main even to play my feed started with this nice jump Adrian Neville did over the ropes, and Bo on to the ladder up to the end.

Over all with this being the 4th NXt show I've seen I am loving NXT. From Sami Zayn who I remember as El generico, Too Cool, and that awesome Diva match I really liked it. I just hope they fix this before Mania

I experienced a crash during the Tyler Breeze/Xavier Woods match, but it was only momentarily. It caused me to miss the match (which must have been short), but came back relatively fast and had no problems throughout the NXT Title match.

I thought this was a great show. At the beginning, I was doing my taxes and thought I half-heard that Zayn/Cesaro was 2/3 falls again, so the whole time I was like, "This is one hell of a first fall!" until I realized that was the full match. Still, that was a really great match and those two continue to impress.

It's really weird how Emma enters this entirely different dimension where her gimmick and character work, and then she does pretty much the same thing on WWE TV and it just looks stupid (in a bad way). Great match, I wish the WWE division was handled just like this.

Enjoyed the ladder match, too. Interested to see where NXT goes without Bo Dallas on top. Neville is great in the ring, and I buy into his spots unlike other wrestlers who rely on them, but he's surrounded by people who are way more charismatic that I wonder how long his reign will go.

Really weird moment when Stephanie took the NXT Divas Belt from the referee and held it up, only facing one direction of the audience (away from camera). That's WWE in a nutshell. People in charge do weird things, no one points out to them how stupid they look.

Anyone else notice the new WWE Network Logo on the NXT belt tonight? I think it was also on the Divas belt. Wonder what they'll do about that "$50,000" belt they introduced just a year ago.

NXT's episode on Sportsnet 360 up here was a repeat of their Christmas episode, where Renee Young talks about what NXT and WWE are doing with their superstars and the Performance Centre. No news yet if Arrival will air next week or maybe during Sports net's WWE block on Saturday.

Either way, I really hope so. I'm quite anxious to see Zayn/Cesaro.

EDIT: Why does my post suggest I'm in America?

The feed crashed for everybody during Tyler Breeze's entrance. How quickly you got the show going again seemed to depend on what platform you were using to watch. I was on the iPad when it happened. It kept kicking me out to the main menu. I was able to get back in to see most of Rusev's attack and Lana's promo. But, for the rest of the night, if I closed the video and reopened it, it would play the same 15 seconds of the Neville promo package before jumping to the current point in the stream. Very weird. WWE sent out an apology email for the technical issues.

As for the show itself, I was watching for another great Cesaro/Zayn match and the possibility of Bo dropping the title, so I was more than pleased. The other stuff was gravy. (Boring gravy at times, though. I'm looking at you, CJ Parker.) I wonder where they go with Zayn now. I don't see him feuding with Neville, but they could have a good title match or two.

Paige's new finisher seemed innovative. Has anyone used that before?

I don't think they needed all the old folk (the ones sitting in the crowd were fine...Larry Zybysko!). It seemed so jarring to see Too Cool and HBK (What was the point of his rambling?) when the show was supposed to be about the future. But then again, the Outlaws are WWE tag champs, so whatever.

The Thursday night wars are on. Not to belabor the comparison, but this seems like the kind of show TNA should've been doing for the last 8 years. The overdelivering ROH-style in-ring of the opener, integration of WWE imports and legends to build up new guys, that women's division thing they used to do, making wrestlers who can do astounding feats like Zayn and Neville your top stars and not just salad dressing.

I haven't watched a full episode of NXT since the true canonical NXT of fall 2011 to spring 2012 went out of business. It's pretty much what I figured: giving Dusty Rhodes the freedom and resources to run a small indy in a Florida suburb. It seems to be going well, with less of the time warp feeling from Cornette-era OVW people used to swoon over -- or at least without the "we gotta sell out Six Flags goddamnit" problems in, um, cohesive integration that led to many meltdowns and a lot of ... racket.

Yeah, Cesaro/Zayn was as great as everyone has said. I thought their famous 2/3 match was merely "very good," but this was blow-away. What can you say about the roll Cesaro's on?

Paige vs. Emma also came off like a major achievement just by virtue of two women having a normal, good match of above-average length.

Zayn should debut on the post-Wrestlemania Raw (the new Tensai). Paige hype vignettes should start on the same show. What a night that'll be on top of Bryan beating Batista for the world title!

William Regal is a phenomenal announcer, but even if he were on Smackdown he'd never be allowed to be the same way, so why sweat it.

I got no time whatsoever for any Conor O'Brian that is not a rat.

Love Bret Hart blatantly reading his format sheet during the panel.

I hope Cena and Ricardo Rodriguez bro'd out hard.

And here I thought the days of streams abruptly dying were over. The comforts of familiarity. Yeah, I will probably be less content to shrug, watch Community, and check out the replay if this happened to, say, the main event of Wrestlemania.

The passive aggression in WWE's daily apology statements is delightful. They sound like they're on the brink of posting Batista pictures captioned "deal with it."

For sure. She felt like a completely different character, if not human being, than the Raw Emma of the last month.

NXT and WWE are in their own universes, it seems - at least during the show you'll often hear the name NXT Universe mentioned. In fact, until recently, NXT was never mentioned on Raw or Smackdown.

On NXT, Seth Rollins was a punk rocker who'd have a one man mosh pit at the top of the stage, but he debuted on RAW as a member of the Shield. Also, Roman Reigns was an arrogant pretty boy on NXT, but then became the silent-ish member of the Shield upon debut. Big E was the master of the five count on NXT, and on WWE, he was, well...what was he?

Johnny Curtis became Fandango upon debut, too.

Its not always like this, though - Alexander Rusef on NXT is the same Alexander Rusef that will debut for Raw whenever.

The point I'm trying to make is this: NXT is it's own world, and what happens there isn't necessarily what happens or will happen on WWE programming.

Great show overall. I caught the 11:00 2nd airing and it was smooth as seal sex.

If I were any Diva on the main roster not named AJ, I'd seriously step my game up or update my resume. The Emma v. Paige match was the best women's match I've seen since....well Aj v. Naomi on the infamous All Diva's season of NXT.

Why doesn't John Orquiola post anymore? He should be here to freak out about the Diva's match with me.

I feel like the Opening match and the main event match should have been switched. The weeks of story building and chemistry leading up to Cesaro/Zayn guaranteed to get MOTN.

Now that the VOD is working on the Network, he's watching all the Divas matches on a never ending loop.

Loved the show, smart move leading with Cesaro / Zayn as it totally drew me in and had me watching up to the network burp. The promos throughout had me interested to see the ladder match, but oh well.

My opinion so far is that I really like the network and LOVED the NXT show, but I will probably cancel after the free week and wait to see how the WM build unfolds on RAW/SD. If it seems worthwhile to get WM to watch live, then I'll sign up for it again closer to the event. As it is, I just don't have the time to take advantage of the network before live PPV's are a factor.

There's a similar move in Mexico called the motocicleta (the hand grabs are slightly different) which I originally thought was it, but I saw someone point out that Bull Nakano had used that hold in Japan. That's much more likely to be it.

WWE developmental is a much different place than it used to be when people are getting ideas from Japanese matches.

Didn't she use it in WWF as well? I want to say they called it the pendulum or cradle rock or something like that. Ah, I could Google it - sure enough, here's a photo.:

Now I can't remember what I saw last night and if it was the same thing.

By the way, this was one of those times I still wish they would use the verbal submission instead of "it's gotta be a tapping hand 100% of the time" deals, but that's ol' 1990s me talking again I guess.

It was all she could do to keep Alundra from needing to use a hand to stay off the mat, if I recall correctly. I'll leave it to you to decide which competitor to blame.
