I'm in. Hopefully this is the year that I finally take down the juggernaut that is Racer X and enjoy some good old fashioned trash talking while I am at it. Or is that something that still brothers you, Oliver? Because it really shouldn't; if everyone got their panties in a twist over it like you did last season, fantasy leagues would never exist.
In any event, good luck to all of you... in trying to avoid the wall as I run you over! The W title will be mine! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

dude, that wasn't "old fashioned trash talking" as you put it. You were downright malicious in your comments.
My response to that: wwwwwaaaaahhhhh! You were really threatened by a parody song that featured all the W racers and not just you? I had many others in the league reply on the page and in email that those comments were funny. If anything, last year proved you're a control freak who hates being challenged in any way. That's why you would never allow for the vote for the luckydog rule: if the majority voted/votes for it, I'll accept it and drop the issue.
Look, I got bigger fish to fry anyway. You call me a little girl, I call you a humorless dictator, let's move on. Or like I said before, if you really have a problem with the way I do things, contact me by email and we can talk it out. But continuing to act like you do isn't going to stop me and in the long run, it only makes both of us look little children. You can fix this or you can continue to be Mr. Sensitive every time someone makes a remark about wanting to spread your car along the wall like a pat of butter. It's your choice.

I'll be signing up as soon as I am free of the company firewall.
Hey, Oliver - turn on posting messages in the group
How come posting is disabled? I rarely lead and wanted to trash talk while the trash talking was good.
I even got good use of Danica this week! (Wanting to save Larson and Dillon when I can)
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

He disabled posting because of my 'malicious' post right before Daytona where I joked about him being a baby. It should be noted that I went after the defending champion Racer X aka Kevintripod a lot harder (but not in any profane or offensive way) in the same post. So after saying 'let bygones be bygones', he changes his mind after one post. It's clear he takes this trash talking way too personally and shouldn't be in fantasy sports, much less in charge of a fantasy group.
Maybe we should get CRZ to take over the group. Oliver doesn't care about me and basically talks down to me but when CRZ calls him out on his stupidity (like when he screwed up the Dillion-Childress relationship), he cowers and backs down immediately. If nothing else Oliver, even you have to realize that no one (and I mean NO ONE) has agreed with you on our debate. If anything, your actions are making it difficult for anyone to enjoy playing fantasy NASCAR.
P.S.- Nice start for you AWArulz and for Racer X as well. But I'm still gunning to dethrone you from the top spot once November and the end of the chase comes along.
I don't want to get in the middle of any fights or anything. Oliver's ok, for a canadian.
I have never led this far in. I am sure I don't have much time left. :)

Any of the talking on these fantasy sports sites should always be taken extremely lightly. It's supposed to be fun!!

I would hate to have to come up with a different name for my team each segment

Didn't that ultimately end up making no difference last year?
Next year we should just do fantasy NASCAR here on The W™. The Yahoo format has been the same FOREVER. There's got to be a better/more interesting version of the game. For example...
- It's not "Fantasy Sprint Cup". It's "Fantasy NASCAR." Is there a version that has Nationwide and Truck races?
- If it's a "league" there should really be a draft. If you include NNS and Truck drivers that's like 70 full-time drivers. You could get some real strategy going...would you take Matt Crafton (who would give you 22 solid-to-excellent Truck races and a few Nationwide/Cup starts) or some Cup rookie (who might start all 36 races)?
Or another thing that could work is to do it like my buddy's golf league, where you get ONE driver per week and you only get the points that driver scores that week, then you can't use that driver again for the whole season.
Back in the day I was in a league where you picked a driver from all the series that were racing that weekend...NASCAR, IndyCar, F1, whatever, and you added up the finishes and the lowest score won the week. That was pretty cool. I just really wish Yahoo would change it up a little.

I like this one a lot - with 43+ drivers and 36 races, there would be some weeks where you are begging that start & park driver to squeeze out a few more laps...count me in

Sad under any circumstance, but what makes it worse is a 5-year-old will grow up without his dad. I was at the Pocono race Sunday and actually thought for a few minutes about how this guy went from an elite team to start-and-park in a just a few years....
