Total non-shocker, as WWE gets to beat Super Bowl L in the brand new stadium by a year. Kudos to them.
The timing of the announcement doesn't help me, as now I have to decide between traveling to New Orleans or wait til 2015 to cross off "I-80 cross country road trip" off my bucket list.
And for the losers in Philly, you get nothing. WM 32 is going to be at Jerry World. Which makes sense since the east coast got their WM every ten years. Florida is in the South not the East Coast.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
Given what WWE is looking for in a Wrestlemania venue nowadays, Lotjx is right that eastern/cold-weather cities could be rarities for hosting gigs. Toronto, Indianapolis and Detroit have shots because they have domes and some Mania history going for them, and NY/NJ has a shot because of the New York tie. That might be it....not sure what Philly necessarily brings to the table that would put them in line for another Wrestlemania.
If WM32 is in Dallas, that dovetails nicely with "the 25th anniversary" (tm Michael Cole) of Undertaker's first Mania appearance. Presuming Taker's body holds up for two more years, retiring in his home state makes a lot of sense narrative-wise.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
WWE seems to be having a habit of booking Mania in big stadiums that are set to 'debut' as Super Bowl hosts in the near future. Looking ahead to the Super Bowl schedule, this year's game is of course at MetLife in Jersey, then at UofPh Stadium in Glendale (already used for WM26), then in Santa Clara, then at Reliant Stadium in Houston (WM25).
The next available Super Bowl is the 2018 game and the rumoured candidates are the New Orleans Superdome, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and the Vikings new stadium in Minneapolis. The Superdome is obviously being used this year, Lucas Oil Stadium isn't totally new, but the Vikings building is an intriguing choice for both the NFL and WWE.
Therefore, I'm going to predict WWE will want to get the jump on the NFL again and book Wrestlemania 33 for either Minneapolis or Indianapolis. WM32 in Dallas just seems like such a logical fit and there's no reason for it to not happen....it's the first spring that JerryWorld will be available, WWE obviously would love to run such a huge building, it could be Undertaker's last match, etc.
Big Bad's official Wrestlemania venue predictions!
WM32: Dallas WM33: Minneapolis or Indianapolis WM34: Orlando, since WWE loves how the city treats them like royalty and they've been rumored for another Mania for years. Could also mark the physical opening of the Hall of Fame. WM35: The Moon WM36: ECW Arena (there will be a big downturn in business)

Vince's new favourite word is "interactive" - although for WWE, it's probably spelled something trade-re-markable like "InterAktive."
The logo really stuck out to me. They just redesigned the WWE Title belt and are putting it out on every talk show and World Series baseball star they can get it on, so I guess that means we're going to see yet another new one? No wonder those WWE Title belt replicas were on super discounted clearance at WWE Shop for two weeks around Black Friday.
I can't wait to make #InterAkktiv a major trend for a few minutes on Twitter soon.
I might go. Any idea how much Wrestlemania tickets are, and how far in advanced they need to be purchased? I'd want an unobstructed view, but beyond that I'm fine with being far from the ring.
Hopefully the post-Mania RAW will be in the San Francisco area as well. I would love to be there for that troll-fest.

The problem is that Randy is a pretty dead face right now and he needs to be in a program where he gets cheered. Jinder, along with his flunkies, will at least give clear face/heel lines in this program.
