Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, WWE Championship Match: They can't have Bryan win and have it taken from him AGAIN; so Orton wins (probably in a screwy fashion) to continue the feud. Maybe Triple H involves Brie somehow, causing Bryan to lose.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam, Battleground Hardcore Rules Match for the World Championship: Unless RVD signs an extension in the next week, Del Rio wins. Does WWE trust Rey Mysterio's health enough to have him challenge Del Rio for the title when he returns?
The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust; if Rhodes and Goldust lose, they will never work in WWE again: I mean, the Rhodes boys HAVE to win...right?
C.M. Punk vs. Ryback: I want to say Punk wins, but Ryback was just christened a Heyman guy tonight. But after Punk's last PPV loss, to Heyman no less, do they job him again? I'll go with Punk winning.
A.J. Lee vs. Brie Bella, Divas Championship Match: Brie wins because Total Divas.
Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth, Intercontinental Championship Match: Axel wins and retains.
Kofi Kingston vs. Bray Wyatt: Wyatt wins with ease.
Santino Marella & The Great Khali vs. The Real Americans: The babyfaces, just because.

Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, WWE Championship Match: Oh, God, is Brie Bella in the main event angle? Seriously? Urgh...ok, Bryan gets distracted when Triple H and Stephanie have Big Show bring Brie out to the ramp by the hair. Orton takes advantage, RKO, new champion.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam, Battleground Hardcore Rules Match for the World Championship: THIS is where Ricardo turns on Van Dam. Del Rio retains and I have ZERO idea where he goes from here.
The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust, WWE Tag Team Championship Match; if Rhodes and Goldust lose, they will never work in WWE again: It'd be the absolute dumbest move possible, given the face pops he was getting a few weeks ago, but I can absolutely see it happening. Cody turns on Goldust. Shield win. Cody joins The McMahon-Helmsley Faction 2.0.
C.M. Punk vs. Ryback: This has Hell in a Cell written all over it. Ryback wins via shenanigans. Rematch happens at HiaC, which coincidentally would mean that they face off in the Cell for the second year in a row.
A.J. Lee vs. Brie Bella, Divas Championship Match: This match depresses the shit out of me. Brie gets the title here.
PRE-SHOW: Dolph Ziggler vs. Damian Sandow: Wow, the resistable force meets the movable object. Ziggler wins, because he's slightly less of a jobber than Sandow.
"Playing guitars. It's hard to sing while playing...guitars."
Wow, I'm picking the heels to win every match here, what a depressing show. I really, really, really, REALLY hope they don't go the route of Cody turning heel on his family --- he's poised to be a big face and a much-needed new star for WWE in his current role.
Orton Del Rio Shield Ryback AJ
ADDITIONAL MATCHES: I'll pick Ziggler over Sandow and Wyatt over Kofi
(edited by Big Bad on 5.10.13 0005) "It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
Orton RVD The Sons of the Son of a Plumber Ryback, preserving Punk's near perfect 2013 PPV loss record AJ. Don't like her chances but not betting against her. Wyatt Axel Ziggler steals the kickoff show
Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, WWE Championship Match: No contest, possibly under shady circumstances.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam, Battleground Hardcore Rules Match for the World Championship: ADR
The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust, WWE Tag Team Championship Match; if Rhodes and Goldust lose, they will never work in WWE again: Rhodes & Rhodes. Also, isn't this non-title?
C.M. Punk vs. Ryback: Ryback
A.J. Lee vs. Brie Bella, Divas Championship Match: Brie
Damian Sandow vs. Dolph Zigger, Pre-Show Filler Geez, can they both lose? I guess I'll pick Ziggler.
EDIT: Axel & Bray Wyatt also win.
(edited by hansen9j on 5.10.13 1556) I am why James is crying.
Go Pack Go! Owner of one (1) share. (1-2, 3rd NFC South.) Let's Go Riders! Owner of one (1) share. (8-5, 3rd West Division.)
Orton/Bryan - draw Del Rio d. RVD Ryback d. Punk AJ d. Brie Rhodeses d. Shieldses Axel d. Truth if they add that Ambrose d. whoever Ambrose fights Ziggler d. Sandow EDITED TO ADD Wyatt d. Kofi EDITED AGAIN TO ADD Real Americans d. Khali & Santino
"Yeah, let's create a NEW Pay-Per-View and call it Battleground! It'll be the Battlegroundiest PPV of all time! All featuring normal, regular matches for the same things people fight for at other PPVs!"
Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the Abeyance'DD WWE Championship: I actually would prefer a no contest, but I think Orton wins here, since he hasn't had a real win over Bryan in this feud yet. Whenever the WWE Title is vacant, it's always soooo much more fun to have a tournament or a 4-6 way match for the title.
BUT, since the title is held in "abeyance," I guess we have to go with the least exciting route for the most exciting word.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam, Battleground Hardcore Rules Match for the World Championship: Del Rio, I guess, in the finish they probably wanted to do last month where Rodriguez nonsensically turns on RVD. Really sick of Del Rio with this belt.
The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust, if Rhodes and Goldust lose, they will never work in WWE again: I think it IS non-title, so I'll go with Code-Dust. I feel like the non-title thing is a huge misdirect, but I'll go with the straightforward face win.
C.M. Punk vs. Ryback: Ryback gets his revenge for Punk beating him last year. If Punk lost to both Undertaker and Lesnar, there's really nothing for him to gain at all in 2013 by beating Ryback or Heyman or Axel. Screw it. Just job the guy out for the rest of this year. No one seems to care.
A.J. Lee vs. Brie Bella, Divas Championship Match: Brie Bella wins, but the feud will continue. Could possibly win by DQ.
Damian Sandow vs. Dolph Zigger, Pre-Show Filler Ziggler, since Sandow has the briefcase. Ziggler knows better than anyone that that means you automatically lose.
Shield vs. Rhodes Bros.: Rhodes win, but I smell a Dusty finish
Del Rio vs. Van Dam: Del Rio.
Orton vs Bryan: Orton after AJ interferes, hating on the Total Divas and still cranky over losing D-Bry to Brie (I mean, why else bring that up on Raw?), bringing everything into a nice neat tidy package. AJ gains the admiration of Stephanie McMahon.
"Laugh and the world laughs with you. Frown and the world laughs at you." -Me.
Damian Sandow vs. Dolph Zigger, Battle of the JTTS... Ziggler
Curtis Axel vs. R Truth - Axel
Wyatt vs. Kofi - Bray Wyatt
A.J. Lee vs. Brie Bella, Divas Championship Match: Brie Bella wins by DQ. With Brie being brought into the Bryan – Authority storyline, I see something happening here. Maybe AJ goes over in a screwjob. What are the chances of good twin – bad twin split? Evil Nicky looking out for her career by joining The Authority regime versus Brie standing by her man and what’s right. It even works as a Total Divas drama device.
The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust; if Rhodes and Goldust lose, they will never work in WWE again: The Shield Is my official entry. I am of two minds on this one. One says The Shield wins via shenanigans to put The Rhodes family on “Hawd Timez!” “Hawd Timez” is when you have to return yo’ weddin gift ta make endz meet. The other says that because it’s non-title The Rhodes Family eeks out a win with Dusty’s involvement that nullifies the NEVER clause but allows enough controversy in the match to allows Triple H to fire them all on RAW. Of Course with Dusty at ringside they could do a tribute and do a non finish to postpone the outcome and have Dusty put on the trunks for a six man at Hell in a Cell.
C.M. Punk vs. Ryback: Ryback wins, Punk can’t control himself trying to get at Paul after Heyman sticks his nose in the match. The Heyman Punk saga continues. Punk doesn’t slay The Big Guy until Lesnar can make the save for Heyman.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam, Battleground Hardcore Rules Match for the World Championship: ADR, don’t see how anything else makes sense with RVD being a short timer.
Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, WWE Championship Match:Randy wins and leaves with the belt after Daniel is DQ’d or counted out. The decision will probably involve Brie Bella in some way. No way Bryan walks out with the belt. So many ways they can go with this but none of them involve Bryan winning title yet.
Ziggler, ADR, Ryback, and AJ. I pick the Rhodes to win their match, with a turn from Goldust occurring post-match. For the world title match, I predict no clear winner, with the title remaining in abeyance following the show.
Bryan/Orton-double pin..because eff you thats why. Del Rio/RVD-rvd.. Aj-bella. Bella Punk/Ryback- Ryback Rhodes/Shield- Believe in the Shield Sandow/Ziggler-Sandow Axel/whoever- Axel Wyatt/Kofi- Wyatt
(edited by RecklessEric on 2.10.13 2219) Winter is coming.
Bryan vs Orton ends in a no contest when Shield/Show/HHH/Bella?/Rhodes?/Usos?/everyone? get involved and the show goes off the air with mass brawling in the ring to justify the "battleground" PPV name. (an Orton, HHH and Shield vs Bryan, Show, Cody and Usos match at Survivor Series could be pretty great). Winner: No Contest
ADR retains against RVD Winner: ADR
The Shield/Rhodes one is a tough one to call. It's been a pretty great subplot and if the Rhodes win then it's effectively over. But on a show where mostly heels are likely to be going over, a Rhodes win would provide a much-needed feel-good moment. I do quite like the idea of Goldust turning on Cody after being promised a contract by HHH. Maybe that gets us to that Goldust vs Cody Rhodes WrestleMania match that Dustin's been lobbying for for the last three years. Winner: Shield
Punk sneaks out a win to end his PPV losing streak but doesn't get to exact revenge on Heyman just yet. Maybe Langston intervenes on Heyman's behalf. (Lesnar, Ryback, Axel, Langston and Heyman vs Punk, RVD, Kofi, Ziggler and Truth at Survivor Series?) Winner: Punk
Axel retains against Truth. Winner: Axel
Wyatt beats Kofi and a post-match beatdown of Kofi is interrupted by a returning Kane. Winner: Wyatt
With the Bellas being abruptly turned and shoehorned into both the Divas title match and the main event feud between Orton and Bryan, I don't like AJ's chances. Winner: Brie
Why is Ziggler on the pre-show?? And why is he not facing Ambrose? I guess there's some truth to the "Ziggler in dog house" rumblings, huh? Punishment or no, I still think he wins here. Winner: Ziggler

Vacant World Heavyweight Title: Randy Orton v Daniel Bryan: I'm looking for a Sportz Entertainment Finish here so that the title will continue to be held in abeyance. We can then look for a tournament, giving HHH/Steph the opportunity to try to pit the faces against each other.
WWE Title: Alberto Del Rio v Rob Van Dam: Ricardo turns. ADR wins.
The Shield v Rhodes Boys: If Goldust is going to work a semi-regular schedule, he turns on Cody to turn Cody into an even bigger babyface. Otherwise, the Rhodes Boys win but the Shield murderizes Goldust AND Dusty postmatch.
Divas Title: AJ Lee v Brie Bella: In my heart of hearts I want AJ to win and rip Total Divas to shreds on a weekly basis but that's not going to happen. Brie wins.
CM Punk v Ryback: Ryback wins via shenanigans, leading to the rematch at Hell in a Cell.
Damien Sandow v Dolph Ziggler: Ziggler, because Sandow winning doesn't fit with their bury-MitB-briefcase-holder-prior-to-big-win philosophy.
If Curtis Axel or the Wyatt Family wrestle on the show, they win.
Orton via heel shenanigans to win the belt. Bryan regains it either at Hell in a Cell or Survivor Series. Cena will get it back soon after he returns though, I'm afraid.
World Heavyweight Title, Alberto Del Rio (C) vs. Rob Van Dam
ADR retains. This feud is kinda boring me.
The Shield vs. The Rhodes Brothers, Non-Title, Rhodes Brothers must win to get their jobs back
Hm, toughie. Faces need a win, so I'll give it to The Rhodes Brothers here. The Shield gets angry enough about the result that they demand a rematch at Hell in a Cell. This comes back to haunt them when The Rhodes Brothers beat them for the tag-team titles there.
(Note: I may, in fact, have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.)
Divas Title, AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella
AJ retains.
CM Punk vs. Ryback
Punk? I guess?
Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth, Intercontinental Title
Axel retains. R-Truth hasn't had a storyline to build him up to winning the I-C Title.
Bray Wyatt vs. Kofi Kingston
Wyatt wins. Wyatt Family beatdown is broken up by a returning Kane. (I like that prediction by TheGreatWhiteBob.)
