That's bullshit. Hell of a way to entice new fans.
Oh well, IZW has free cards on GFL. That's quality wrestling.
The parts I saw were good, but like most other people I know who were also trying to watch, my stream kept freezing and for parts just dropped out completely most notably during the Jimmy Jacobs promo & big match before the main event. It did get back up during the ME which was nice. Some people speculated that GFL was overloaded by the sheer volume of viewers, but considering that the business plan is to have as many viewers as possible that's definitely an issue. I tried watching WSU when they were on GFL and had less problems but it still wasn't the greatest feed compared to smartmark, highspots and wwnlive. I haven't gotten any of the RF video ippv's that wsu/beyond/czw are using but from what i've heard that stream is pretty problem free. After being a fan for years I lost some of my feeling for the direction of ROH with the Sinclair purchase, but they've started to get me closer to being fully on board again recently. The product isn't the problem as much as the lack of easy access to the programming is.

ROH has had issues with GFL getting overloaded and people not being able to order their iPPVs. I watched a few ROH iPPVs and they were fun, but then there were a few more where I tried and it completely crapped out, so I gave up. Eventually, ROH did too and they quit offering live iPPVs, instead selling the shows on demand after the fact.
GFL offered to stream this show for free as a good-faith offer to ROH, to prove they could do so without incident. Hahahahaha oops.
But this is a problem with iPPV in general. You kind of have to be prepared for way more traffic than you think you'll need, even though 99.999% of the time, it will go to waste. Even WWE's live streaming of Wrestlemania this year fell apart due to excessive demand.
Well, new-ish, anyway. (wwe.com) Booker T is taking Lawler's spot on Raw permanently, alongside Cole and JBL. Smackdown will be called by Cole, King, and Byron Saxton. PPVs will continue to be called by Cole, JBL, and King. That's not...
