Official time on that Cesaro spin was 36 seconds, but it seemed even longer than that.

Completely forgot to ask this -- did I mishear or did this week's promo film for Los Matadores mention a legendary bull that could not be beaten? I could have sworn there was something in there about someone/thing coming with them to WWE, but I wasn't paying complete attention.

Actually, just found it on WWE.com. "Soon, Los Matadores and the bull of legend return to do battle in the ring."

Are they bringing a bodyguard? Is that the reference to the bull? Anyone heard anything?

What Booker T was doing was not looking like a bitch. More specifically, he was paraphrasing Marcellus Wallace's "That's pride fucking with you" spiel to Butch about throwing the fight in Pulp Fiction. . Always fun to hear the wrestlers using great material to spice up their promos, not just for the shout out, but because it fits the situation.

Another one recently that I held off mentioning, but it fits this observation, was CM Punk's lifting of Denzel's 'Man On Fire' revenge speech. "Anyone who profited from it, anyone involved in it, anyone who opens their eyes at me", very good stuff, and only added to his intensity. The movie itself is probably DW's best, although YMMV, but since I like it that much it added tremendously to the promo.

Three oinkers wearing pants, a plate of hot air, a basket of grandma's breakfast and change a bull to a gill, got it.

That spin was a thing of beauty. It just went on and on and for the longest time Cesaro didn't even slow down or wobble.

A good Raw, solid Bryan vs Ambrose match, Edge and Triple H were good together and throwing Christian out there was a nice little touch.

I don't think I'm spoiling much when I say that the GIANT SWING makes an appearance in this week's Main Event.

I heard "Mexican midget in a bull costume" but can't find a source and that might have been the internet making things up.

No, I thought this was well known. The Artist formerly known as Mascarita Dorada is expected to be el Torito (or, if WWE can't get a trademark on "Torito," "Torlito," which I believe translates to "terlit.")

I would have loved seeing Dustin win his brothers job back, but promptly turn heel and rip up the contract.

I guess this is a regular thing now? I, for one, enjoy these weekly chats with the COO. (wwe.com)

His corporate speak about Edge was spot on. In a way, he's kind of right if you look at it from that prism.

It's possible, but that's the wrong combination of guys together. If Torito/Dorada is going to work, he's going to work as early Lita - doing a couple of high spots on wrestlers in the match and getting out. (Dorada and Cesaro will be AMAZING.)

I actually thought this was the direction they were headed to a degree. I figured Dustin would take Orton to the limit, only to be interrupted by Triple H before finishing.

"Dustin Rhodes ... Goldust ... you've shown me something tonight. You still have it. Let's forget this charade of helping Cody out; we want you back. Your family, they think you're a screw up. A loser. A nothing. What are you fighting for? Their "honor"? Their "approval"? I have a one year contract, iron-clad, and all you need to do is drop this game, and put your name on the dotted line. The choice is yours Dustin. Do what's ... best for business."

Very surprised they played it straight; but I'm assuming they aren't ready to go for Round 4 on the Dustin Rhodes rollercoaster.

HELLO CANADA It was the Leyenda de Plata Cibernetico, with slightly skewed rules. 1) 16 people have a battle royale. First 8 out are on one team, the 8 remaining are on another. (This was not shown and usually it's that way.) 2)
