I like what the Packers have done thus far with Jones and Lacy. And a big LOL to the Jets.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
How lucky are the Packers? They had to trade down in the second round, because the new Rodgers deal essentially cripples their cap...and somehow Lacy STILL wound up falling into their laps. Unbelievable!

I kind of feel the same way about my Steelers. They needed a linebacker to replace Harrison and a running back to replace Mendenhall and seemingly got who they wanted for the simple reason that nobody was drafting those positions. They also get Wheaton to fill in the spot left by Wallace leaving. I feel pretty good about their draft so far.

Why do you feel that the Rodgers contact crippled the Pack? I haven't heard anything of the sort thus far.
On the other hand, Ted Thompson loves him some draft picks, and this draft has been advertised as deeper than most, albeit not top heavy.
I don't have a pro team I follow closely, but I couldn't be more happy with seeing 11 Seminoles drafted. Amazing that it's a school record considering the teams in the 90's.
I saw how pissed ESPN talking heads were about EJ going early, which just seems silly. Like someone kicked their puppy. He's got talent, and is smart. He just had too many guys in his ear with different advice in college. Craig was telling him not to run so much as it would stereotype him. He's going to have to work at this, and I've spent a couple years complaining at his overthrows, but he can do this.
But really feel great for Chris Thompson. That kid has been through so much and is incredibly talented. If he can stay healthy he could be a real weapon for the Skins.
And can I just add in a "nice move" to Miami for taking the stupid helmet off the dolphin in their logo? Looks nice.
