That would be interesting. If AJ wins the Diva title, and the guys win the tag title, that would give some momentum for Ziggler to target Del Rio with the MITB. And it would make the title the paramount concern in their angle. I like this.

Let them all win in the first hour of Mania then do the cash in hour two and if you want to go full bizarre find a way.for Bryan alone to win all the belts including diva. Just to give the show an over arching storyline.

But that kick ended up meaning nothing in the match and Barrett ends up losing anyway after a long match.(edited by MonteCarl on 26.3.13 0829)

I initially thought the same thing about Miz/Barrett in that there was going to be a quick loss by Wade. But you are wrong about the kick not meaning anything. In fact, the spot that built to the finish was Wade missing a big boot and crotching himself on the top rope. Because of this, he couldn't avoid getting the Figure Four put on him and he had to tap.

What I wonder is whether this thing will lead to a HHH/Barrett match on the go home Raw next week.

I'll go with that, If (and that is a god damn big IF) they're planning on changing up Cenas character, the seeds would merely be planted in that match, with Cena as you say perhaps using pulled tights or using the ropes. Something quick, snappy & not overtly heel-ish at the very end of a long match that will shock the audience, without giving them time to think ''hey, he just turned heel, awesome'', anything too heel-ish such as a steel chair or Paul Heyman/John Laurinaitis/The Shield/Insert Generic Heel Here getting involed would feel contrived at this early stage, and more likely than not would get him cheered.

How Cena would sell it afterwards should be similar to how Randy Orton sold his shock after he'd just smacked and punted Vince back in 09, which was masterful.

Cena (and the commentators) could sell his conflict after the match, and he could look all regretful and sorry over what he'd done. This way, Vince can drag this thing out in theory (he loves dragging things out) for as long as he wants without having to turn Cena the full bad guy.

And really, what would change in the fan reaction if this happened? The guys who boo him would still boo him ... the girls and kids who cheer him would very likely still cheer in such a situation. It's a good testing phase without changing the status quo in terms of popularity, IMHO.
