Is *that* what the opener was? I'm completely avoiding ever watching that (following Paul Anka & Lisa's advice - "Just don't look!") and my fiancee & I were confused by that opening entirely.
The episode itself was amusing enough and by-the-numbers and of course ignores past continuity and gives us another New Tale about Abe's past in the *same* season. I hope Glamorous Godfrey is one day inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
The joke I actually laughed at the most was Lenny & Carl saying they go to every event in Springfield.
Oh and Burns' ode to villainy, with its shout-outs to Skeletor and Megatron, was pretty good.

Well, if I may, NBC has pretty much decided that Thursday is going to be their comedy block. And, IMO, if they are going to go up against the best on the other channels, they better bring THEIR best to the table or risk being squashed.
