I think the Super Bowl being there next year is why Mania is there this year; they don't want to ride the NFL's coattails.

Still very curious about the weather this year. I'll be watching NY/NJ forecasts for about two weeks before the event. What will it be like at 10:35 pm in the middle of the main event?

Good point. I collect WrestleMania logos and DVD/VHS covers every year because I'm a nerd like that and they usually introduce them pretty far in advance then tweak them a couple times by the January before, so who knows what we'll get by the end of this year.
All that being said, I noticed they've stopped mentioning the numbers on TV a few years ago. Almost like they're trying not to make WM sound "old" or something, like when FOX first started showing MLB games and they told their announcers not to mention any dead former players. I think it's only a matter of time before they stop numbering them all together and start calling them "WrestleMania 2015, WM2016, WM2017, ..."
Maybe because 26, 27, 28, and 29 aren't particularly interesting or marketable numbers. With 25, they went with the (factually incorrect) "25th anniversary of Wrestlemania." Come to think of it, I don't remember them mentioning numbers 21-24 very much either.
If Jake can stay sober for a year (under DDP's supervision), then I can see WWE agreeing to put him into the Hall.
