I forgot to do this last week, but if I HAD, I would have been 1 and 3, so perhaps we're better off.
Here's the Conference Championship schedule:
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP
2 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS @ ATLANTA FALCONS 1 3PM
I don't see how the Falcons can win, but I'm probably blinded by my sadness that the Packers went down. Still, I feel like the 49ers can beat anybody - except maybe the Rams some of the time - and will pick them here. If it doesn't come down to field goals, even better.
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP
4 BALTIMORE RAVENS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 2 6:30PM
Man I dislike both of these teams. Patriots win and at least I don't have to see Ray Lewis anymore.
I predict I will hate who comes out of the AFC. I am going with the Harbough bowl, because the media can go on forever with that for that extra week between. Ravens vs. 49ers has some spark. I would like to see Atlanta go and win since its one of the few teams I can stand, but no way is that defense ready for another round of running Quarterback.

Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease let the Patriots win.
Patriots - Niners in the Super Bowl.
"As you may have read in Robert Parker's Wine Newsletter, 'Donaghy Estates tastes like the urine of Satan, after a hefty portion of asparagus.'" Jack Donaghy, 30 Rock
I'm guessing Patriots/49ers. I really don't think Baltimore has enough to top New England and Atlanta did everything they could to give that game away today, while the Niners were just straight dominant.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
I want death to all Harbaughs, but I also want to keep the 49ers around to block a NE SB. It's a pickle but it's my duty to try to keep Balty off the board at all costs.
It's amazing the number of minutes that the Ravens, particularly their not-so-young defense, have been on the field these past two weeks. Not sure if there is anything left in the tank but if the magic continues ...
Falcons/49ers: I don't care.
Oh! For those of you who did not see THIS gem; It's been on FB & Twitter for days so I'm sure you've all seen it. I've watched it 22 times. So far.
