Mick Foley. (wwe.com)

Well deserved. Inducted in Madison Square Garden, too. Mick can't ask for better than that.

Terry Funk gives the speech, right? Maybe Hunter?

Rock would be the obvious choice, followed by Funk.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

Good for him. I am hoping for Rock or Terry. HHH would seem awkward after Hunter bashed him a few times.

Foley in a interview said he'd like either Jim Ross or Terry Funk to induct him. I was hoping either Norman the Lunatic, Skandar Akbar or Max Andrews might induct him, but they might all be dead.

I'm actually really surprised that Mick hasn't been inducted already.

Undertaker would also be a fine choice. Does he do induction speeches?

It might be a funny gag to induct Foley this year, Mankind next year, Cactus Jack the next year and finally Dude Love...

..or they could do it four times in the same show.

Andrews MIGHT be alive (I'm not finding any info either way), but Norman and Akbar are gone.

No way on Dude Love, this is the Hall of Fame not the Hall of really good!

I would say that Al Snow should induct him but then nobody would show up for the ceremony.

Undertaker, to my knowledge, still doesn't attend the HOF ceremonies in order to preserve his 'mystique.' Didn't really make sense to me given that anyone who's enough of a hardcore fan to watch the HOF ceremonies knows he isn't actually a living zombie.

He did spend some time in TNA, or else he probably would've gotten in a few years ago. Frankly, given that Foley gets to be the headline inductee* at his home arena, I don't think he could've asked for a better situation to go into the Hall.

Undertaker does attend, but he stays backstage and never sits in the audience or go onstage. Until the day comes he's inducted.

HE'S NOT?!?! Thank you for ruining my childhood!

Foley is, obviously, a well-earned choice. Usually I'd say he would be the cream of the crop, but doesn't WWE historically save the biggest one for last?

Do they? I think they would want to frontload it to sell more tickets to the induction ceremony more quickly.

Looking through previous WWE Hall of Fame threads,
* In 2009, DJFrostyFreeze wondered why they announced Steve Austin first.
* CRZ announced Dusty Rhodes as the first Hall of Fame inductee in 2007.
* In 2005, they announced the 5 lesser names, and Hogan and Piper were announced later.

We don't really have threads for any other years (or they're not marked with the icon). So it would seem like they've been doing it like this for a while.

Looks like we may have HOF'er #2:

Speaking of Bundy, it's remarkable that it took nearly 25 years for someone else (Big E Langston) to take the 5-count gimmick.

Huh. My bad.

King Kong Bundy is quite a worthy addition, too. Main-evented WrestleMania 2 against Hogan; was part of Undertaker's WrestleMania streak. Both were terrible matches, but what can you do?

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army National Guard! Job well done in Iraq!

Bundy's not going in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Instead, PWR is creating their own...and Bundy's the inaugural inductee.

The induction ceremony's April 5 in NYC.
