Herschel: What about T? Carol?
Daryl: They didn't make it.
Just because Daryl found her scarf?!? I don't think so! They had T-Dog's body right there -- which hopefully somebody finished off, although they didn't show it -- but there is no way that I buy Daryl writing off Carol just based on finding her scarf next to an open door. Granted, Rick is focused on finding Lori & Carl immediately, but I definitely don't buy Daryl labeling Carol as "didn't make it".
So, Glen -- so much for playing house with Maggie, eh? She's going to be traumatized into being the surrogate mommy now, isn't she?

I coulda sworn Daryl wrote off Carol with T-Dog when Herschel asked. Maybe he was just offering a shorthand answer.

I was thinking about this today and this show has always been really good about showing the body when there is a body, when there is no body it always seems like there is some kind of return.
Maybe Carl couldn't do it and they will have to finish the job later.

Isn't that what playing house is?
In the comic this is about the point that Glenn and Maggie adopt Sophia.
I figure the gave Lori a heavier death so they can weasel out of killing the baby. Maybe if Lori had shown the strength in that last scene more, everyone wouldn't have hated her.
T-Dogg, I knew the bitching would start as soon as he got bit. Chill out guys, there's tons of good black characters in the series. He was never written well and came off as a token 90% of the time. Still don't understand why they had him and not Tyreese
Finally saw all of it tonight. Well, one less annoying female character on AMC. Yeah, I don't buy Daryl giving up on Carol that just seems so weird. The Governor being more articulate is a good move and I do like Meryl wanting to find his brother.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
(Sorry to dredge up a semi-old thread. I just caught up on the last few episodes on my DVR.)

Generally (and I'm sure there are exceptions), when a woman has had a c-section, it is unsafe for her to ever deliver naturally again. If you had one with the first kid, the doctors will schedule a c-section for each subsequent birth.
Now, I don't know if the show has ever previously mentioned Lori's c-section before she flashed her scar, but if the character had a c-section with Carl, her OBGYN would have told her about needing a c-section for all future kids. She would have scheduled and planned for it with Herschel.
Your wife doesn't have it quite right.
Different doctors and different hospitals have different policies on VBACs (vaginal birth after C-section). It used to be common belief that once you have a C-section all future births have to be via C-section for the safety of the mother. That is no longer the consensus, and in fact most studies show that VBACs are safer than multiple, repeated C-sections. The problem for women who want VBACs is that lots of people still hold the old belief and therefore they often can't find doctors willing to perform a VBAC.
How do I know this? My daughter was born via emergency C-section (2009) and my son was born naturally (2012). =)
