Why yes, I did almost throw up during the Notre Dame game. The Irish maybe in winning lost their title chances and even the Heisman for Teo even though they really stepped up when it counted. People saying Oregon should jump up by beating USC maybe right, but they forgot they let USC score 50 points! Kansas State better hope their QB has a tick for this week.

Les Miles is a degenerate river boat gambler that has no idea when to hold them, when to fold then and when not to try trick plays on 4th down. Bama rallied and won. Yet, LSU seemed to out will them on defense which maybe the blueprint to beat them. Ohio State is having a magical season mainly, because the Big Ten sucks and yet, its all meaningless. As of now, I see an Oregon/Bama title game with Bama winning again, because Oregon and everyone in the Pac-10 is allergic to tackling.

The gist of a good tweet I saw last night was that Les Miles needed to quit thinking of ways to beat LSU . . .

Of course, that's *STILL* better than my Kentucky Wildcats who got blown out by Vanderbilt for the 2nd year in a row. I can see losing to Bama/LSU/Florida like that but freaking Vandy?? Love Joker Phillips, but time for a change (again).

Hated how Pitt played the 4th Qtr and feel sorry for the kicker who shanked the FG in the 2nd OT. Tyler Palko shouts f-bombs alone in his room . . .

No clue how ND pulled off that win, so aggravating to watch. Especially with the reports last night that ND had two players wearing #2 on the field during that missed Pitt overtime FG.

Oh well, we'll just see how it all plays out from here. Oregon's D was getting hyped without really a good reason for it, so it wasn't shocking to see they look like pretty much every Oregon D we've seen over the years when faced with a good Offense.

Meanwhile in the circle of suck that is the ACC, Miami may self impose a bowl ban if they become eligible this week, meaning they would be banned from the conference title game which they are leading for. Second place UNC is also banned, meaning....Duke and GT still have a shot to play for the title. Ugh.

Jeebus, between the ACC and the B1G, finding conference winners is becoming like finding a Tour de France winner.

Luckily for the ACC the two best teams are in the other division and eligible(Clemson and FSU) so while the title game may end up a crappy blowout, at least the ACC could end up with a solid champ.

Who will then probably be stuck taking on Louisville in the Orange.

So even if Alabama, K-State, Oregon and Notre Dame ALL were to lose before the season was out, there's no way an unbeaten Louisville would end up in the title game, right?

Considering LSU, Georgia and South Carolina, two of those teams with two loses are ahead of them? No. You have to remember a shitty SEC team is better than any other team in the country.

At the end of the day, it all depends on what the voters decide. If the voters put them in the top 2, they would make the championship. But yeah, it seems unlikely, given that both polls have them ranked 10 right now.

As I was watching Alabama furiously rally against LSU it occurred to me how pissed off I'm going to be if I don't somehow get an Alabama/Oregon BCS championship game.

Concur. I think K-State is good, but I think they get exposed against either Alabama or Oregon.

To be honest, I think Oregon will get exposed by Bama more than anyone else. Bama's running backs are big and fast. Their QB isn't too bad either. Bama has to do time control and score points. Oregon has not faced anything like Bama and to some extent Notre Dame's defense. Those guys will grind it out while Chip fums on the sidelines. I also think Kansas State's offense hell any of the other offenses including the Irish can wreck the Ducks. The last time, the Ducks were in the title game, it was a drag out game which they lost. I don't expect it to change.

The last time the Ducks were in the title game it was 19-19 until Michael Dyer's miracle run with like 15 seconds left that put Auburn in a position to kick a FG to win. I don't necessarily think Oregon would beat Alabama or even that it would be particularly close, but it is a hell of a lot more interesting than seeing K-State or Notre Dame's offenses go up against Alabama's defense. Oregon has been toying with people all season, including the USC game.

(Also, I HATE the University of Oregon. But they are *that* good.)

I don't think the Wildcats can beat Alabama but their offense is better than you give them credit for. Provided Klein is okay.

I think people are giving Bama more credit than they've earned this season. They do look good, but the SEC is really down overall this year, certainly not at the level they've been. Bama could be that good, I just don't know yet. But I do have to admit they look better than anyone else so far.

As I said before, Oregon looks like Oregon to me. I think they can be slowed by the top defenses and their defense can be had. If they faced Bama and got a quick couple of scores, certainly possible, I could see them rolling. Could also see them stumbling and getting pushed around on both sides of the ball. Would be a fun matchup.

We know KState can't match the athletes of either of those teams, but damn if I'm not convinced Synder is one of the best coaches ever. If given time, I wouldn't be shocked to see him find a way to stick with Oregon or Bama.

Tough choice this year if they all three go undefeated. Notre Dame remains below those three in my view. Now if the upsets come like crazy and we end up with lots of one loss teams...hell I have no clue. But it's been a fun year anyway.

You know, I could really see the Colts going undefeated in the regular season, then losing in the Patriots in the Playoffs. And I hate the Patriots, too.
