He was released over a year ago. In fact, Wikipedia points out that "He is the only member of any form of Nexus not to be still employed by WWE with every other member still being a part of RAW, Smackdown or the new version of NXT."

HOO BOY...you want to talk about freshly burned bridges?
Points for style, but yeah, this guy's definitely on the blacklist, right next to AW.
I was wondering what happened to Tarver too as I always thought it was weird that he was the only Nexus member to be terminated. I stopped that video at 00:58 and I now understand why he HAD to be let go.
Horrible rapping aside, I'm gonna say he was let go because he's one of those annoying devout Christian types. Not saying that their aren't Christians in the company but I got a feeling he isn't as tolerable as Shawn Michaels or as tolerant. Plus he's on that "major celebrities are worshiping the Devil for success" kick judging from his references to Lady Gaga and Jay Z.
He should be wearing a little tinfoil hat waiting for the rapture to come rather than trying to challenge Cena to a rap battle to gain tv time.

That is akin to someone saying in 1995 why are people bitching about the Renegade push when you all want WCW to push some new! Ryback is every bit the Goldberg ripooff as Renegade was the Ulimate Warrior rip off without the tools that made both men megastars once upon a time. Don't get me wrong Ryback isn't nearly as bad as the Renegade, but he's rather terrible and he's jumped ahead of far, far more talented wrestlers far more deserving of pushes, but they don't have Ryback's body type.

I hope being an "annoying devout Christian type" isnt the actual reason he was fired (because it's a horrible reason to fire someone). Anybody know the real reason?
Got hurt at the wrong time, wasn't though to be very good, didn't have any ideas for him. There was some sense after the fact that he was a head case but he was probably let go for the usual reasons they let go of people.
