found this (celebritynetworth.com) via 411mania ... The top 10 really isn't a huge surprise, but there are a handful of things I found interesting:
-Lesnar was not in the Top 10 (#13; $12.5 million net worth) -Edge truly did save his money & invested wisely (#12; $14 million net worth) -CM Punk; give him 5 years & he'll be making a run at the Top 10 on this list. You could make the argument that most of the people ahead of him are there because of the external wrestling ventures. (#19; $7.5 million net worth)

Is it stupid to do something you truly love for a living, even if you could've hung up the boots a long time ago and still lived comfortably the rest of your days?

This list makes it even stranger that some of these guys still hit the lowly highschool gym Indy shows so regularly.

Yes, especially if it could/will lead to enduring pain and suffering.

Originally posted by Dave Meltzer on the Observer boardI know some of the people. Numbers aren't even close. I mean not even in the stratusphere. Common sense should tell you that. Particularly in this economy where you aren't increasing income greatly through investments unless you are very lucky. It's not even accurate if you add up all the income some people have earned over the course of their careers in wrestling. There are guys listed as millionaires who have heavily negative net worths. Don't want to embarrass others but so far from reality.
I think with Del Rio they must have added in the value of all his cars and that pretend giant estate in Mexico. Surprised DiBiase Sr. isn't on the list.

They just need Spike Dudley to do their investments for them now that he is licensed.
Yeah, exposed as BS when Flair being on it at all when he needs TNA staffers to pay his bartabs and Vince at 500 mil when all of WWE isn't worth that much (and Vince only owns 59% of it)

Yeah, as Quebec examples, I know that Jacques Rougeau Jr. is basically broke, while his brother Ray invested his WWF money and lives very comfortably. Likewise, Rick Martel who invested his AWA/WWF money into a construction business which he built into a success and then sold for a lot of money. Pat Patterson, though I haven't met him and interviewed him like I have Ray and Rick, is also from what I have heard through the Quebec grapevine very well off. (He did after all invent the Royal Rumble and was Vince's right hand man for more than a decade.)
But I couldn't tell you which has the most money. (My guess is Rick than Ray than Pat and than long step and Jacques. Wouldn't surprise me that Sly Grenier has more money than Jacques.)
It also wouldn't surprise me that Rick Martel has more money than many people on this list.
And that many of the people on this list are looking at it, scratching their heads and saying, "I have how much money? Really?"
They should have been bold and crowned a champion tonight and not Rollins or Reigns, even if it were for a short spell until you put it on someone outside the box.
