If you had the ability to go back and relive one year of your life, when would it have been and why?

For me I think 1994. I was 20 years old, living on my own for the first time and even though it was a constant struggle to get by, it seemed that was the year I began to become my own person.

Roommates, crappy jobs, having to scrape by for beer money, no real responsibility to speak of. The world just seemed fresh and new to me during this time in my life.

1987 - I love to to know what actually happened that year. I was drunk for most of it. I woke up in 1988 with a bunch of bar receipts and a girlfriend I really didn't like.

1999. The year I graduated high school.Looking back on it, I would had enjoyed it a lot more and would had taken more chances in having fun and being in love. Plus, I would have made more use of the hype for the upcoming year of 2000, whether it's celebrating the new millennium (I know, I know, but screw the technicalities of 2001 being the 'real' start to it) or just adding to the Y2K hysteria.

Any year from the 80's.

Go ahead and pick one, I don't care.

1991. I was 13/14. First serious girlfriend, first taste of freedom, and the shining star on my high school's curling team.

I was on top of the world...holding a SNES controller in my hand, the day it came out!

2007. Finally got rid of my "worthless, no-good @$$" ex after three years, partied like a rock star and had several attractive females at my job crushing on me.

I envy anyone who's had a year that was so free of mistakes or bad experiences that to live through it again, completely unable to change anything, would be anything other than insanity-inducing.

Re-living any year prior to 2006 would be a long fit of depression for me, because I would spent it under the realization that Twitter hadn't been invented yet.

Tie either 1996 where I graduated high school, my long national nightmare, and went to college for the first time actually making friends with people I liked minus the ocassional awkward making out with roommate's ex moment. Plus, the movies were great ID4, The Rock and First Contact. A golden age of TV.

2002. Living a good apartment for once with good roommates, had a radio show, finished my masters, my sister gets married, worked in a comic book store and started dating my now wife. Minus the comic book thing, not working out, it was pretty tight. Also WM X-8 at NYC, you can see him in the Big Show montage. I think I hugged Chris Jericho that year, too.

2000. Graduated from high school, spent a summer in South Carolina with my then-girlfriend, doing a few things that I regret. Would go much slower second time around.

I would have had some good answers for this a while ago, when things weren't going so well, but now I'd be scared to change anything and wind up without what I have now, so I'll stick with what's behind door #1.

Read it and weep, fella

I dont know about a specific calendar year, but I would live 7th-8th grade over again (89-91-ish I guess). That was such a fun time for me. Great friends, a little freedom, no real responibilities, everything that matters now didnt matter then. Good times.

1977. I was 9 going on 10. Days spent playing sports with my friends, starting to get interested in girls, just being a kid. I watch my 10 year old (and 8 year old) enjoy their life and wish I could do that time all over again.

Life is hilariously cruel.

After doing two years of public community college, I wanted to get back to a private/Christian school. When I found out that Liberty University would accept almost all my credits from the community college, it was an easy choice.
