I didn't watch their presentation, so I'm mostly going off Wired's live blog. Nothing too blow-away here from the sounds of it - the keys seem to be a bunch of games that you could have guessed, as well as SmartGlass, their new Xbox/tablet integration software.

In point form!

Upcoming games:
- Halo 4
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist (spring 2013)
- Fable: The Journey (holiday 2012)
- Gears of War: Judgment (2013)
- Forza Horizon (October 12, 2012)
- Nike Plus Kinect Training (holiday 2012)
- Tomb Raider
- Ascend: New Gods (2013)
- LocoCycle (2013)
- Matter (2013)
- Resident Evil 6
- Wreckateer (summer 2012)
- South Park RPG (no name given)
- Dance Central 3
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Xbox SmartGlass:
- Software which connects your Xbox 360 to any tablet or smartphone
- Send a movie from your Xbox to your tabet
- Use the tablet to display additional info about the show you're watching on your TV
- Use the tablet to draw your own plays in Madden or look at weapon schematics in Halo while playing on the TV

Internet Explorer:
- Coming to Xbox this year
- Integrated with SmartGlass and Kinect

Upcoming Xbox 360 video content:
- NBA Game Time
- NHL Game Center
- Nickelodeon
- Machinima
- Univision
- ESPN on Xbox 360 will get 24/7 live HD ESPN broadcasts later this year

Xbox Music:
- for 360, Windows 8, tablets, phones
- no real details on this one

Kinect:
- support in new Splinter Cell, new Madden, new FIFA
- Bing gets 12 new voice search languages

No word on 720, eh? None of the games interest me, so I guess its a pass for games in the next few years. If I had a Tablet, I guess I would find the new features interesting.

The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

Of all the franchises to make an RPG out of...

South Park?!?!

That's either the most bizarre or the most awesome thing I've ever heard. Judgement to be reserved until the first previews come out.

Here's a big article on the South Park RPG (which actually sounds pretty awesome), and majornelson.com has two press releases from Microsoft detailing all the new entertainment apps (with barely any mention of games, though I'm pretty sure Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD will be a day-one buy for me).

The Sega Dreamcast controller was so awesome in that regard. I loved picking my plays in NFL 2K off the vmu screen. I wish Nintendo and Sony would make their portable devices be able to sync up with the game console abd act as a controller with a screen. You souldn't need to have one but be able to get added gameplay if you.

Kudos MS.

Click Here (computerandvideogames.com) I don't have an X-box, so I can't comment much, but it seems like this is the game they should have made last year. I'm guessing an extra year with the hardware will tend to make things better.
